Coast, some things should be kept private.

Yeah Coast, probably good to keep certain things to yourself.

You know if I were to make a top ten of most albums owned in my lifetime (which I just did), there are actually three groups you have not mentioned...#2,#3 and #5. Dead is #1, Doors #4. You have named every other one in my top ten except Joni Mitchell and Santana...and the three top five bands. One had the best slide guitarist of all time. The second is certainly on any list of greatest guitarists ever. The third is led by one of the most ecletic rock entertainers.
Elvis, Billy Joel, exactly zero. Back in the day in my college buying music years, when somebody brought home an album from a group that everyone else thought was uncool, the album got broken. Sometimes without even playing it, though usually an album got at least one turn. I knew better than to ever buy an Elvis or Billy Joel album. It would not have survived the night.

Google is your friend. 2 out of 3 with Allman Brothers and Clapton.
Not Queen. David Byrne/Talking Heads.
Not sure your age, but you have a decent grasp on old music. Much better than my grasp on current tunes.

I wouldn't have gotten the Allman Brothers. I was all over Clapton but didn't know which group to go with. I also considered David Bowie in the eclectic category.
Other than that, I'm 47. I'm mostly a rock, hard rock, metal, hair band kind of guy. 1990 was pretty much my cutoff for liking anything new.
