On this day 45 years ago Black Sabbath debuted their self titled album that ushered in the greatest genre of music known to man. METAL. Celebrate with your favorite flavor of Sabbath whether its Ozzy or Ronnie James or even Ian Gillan. Horns up! \m/

Don't disrespect ManOWar in this thread man. WTF Those guys are legends. Also the inspiration for most of Tenacious D's schtick.

Tony Iommi is just ridiculous. The riffs he came up with are incredible. Up to Supernaut on Sabbath Vol 4 and every song is so unique but so Sabbath. It is beyond impressive.

I am going with Halford.
I really don't like Dickenson. His voice was made to break glass.

Bruce is probably the best and most consistent. RJD is close though.

Symptom of the Universe is right there too. Man there is an argument here for best Sabbath album - especially considering all the bullshit they were going through at the time.

Still can't believe you're a metal head. I had you pegged for like a UB40 guy.

I'll be 40 this year. My first dose of real metal was in 7th grade art class when Dave Pena played Four Horsemen and I said holy shit that's awesome! so loud and got sent to the hall. My dad was always a Zepplin and Sabbath guy but I never listened to them until after I was baptized by 80's thrash metal.

Never a huge fan but appreciate what he has done. I'm in the same boat. My metal buddy though LOVES the shit out of them. They're a little too much for me.
