Jack Victory with the Adrian Adonis tights.
"Muta" chants in St. Louis.
All Missouri McDonalds were closed in honor of Saito wrestling on this card.

25 years later and Muta is still wrestling. Because he's been over for 27 years. Except for that 2000 WCW run. But who could be over with that shitshow? Saito is made of brick. Good lord. Could you imagine telling a drunk Patera and Saito they can't have McDonald's?

JR: Paul, I did find out that he recently had a son named Borat, and he is dedicating this match to him tonight.

Salman Alkhazurovich Hashimikov, also spelled Hasimikov (Russian: Салман Хасимиков), is a prominent Soviet heavyweight wrestler. A Chechen from Russia, he holds two European and four World Championship gold medals in freestyle wrestling (1979, 1981, 1982, 1983). He had also won European and World gold as a Junior in 1970-71.[1]
After an unsuccessful business career, Salman spent five years as a professional wrestler in Japan. There he won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship from Big Van Vader in May 1989 when Steve Williams refused to lose the title to him.[2][3]

Without question, 1990 was the year of my wrestling youth. I remember being pissed I couldn't watch this live. I also remember watching it on the VHS and thinking it kind of sucked, even though it was impossible for wrestling to suck.
First, thank you Aunt Carole for ordering and recording Starrcade 1990. Second, fuck you Jim Herd.

Seeing "Big Cat" Mr. Curtis Hughes come out, I have an idea. What if you have a huge black guy as a bodyguard, but he's wearing red tights with a suit coat? He'd have the hat as well.
The Skyscrapers managed to fuck up a one minute match. The Motor City Madman knew he was about to die if things didn't change quickly.

Lex Luger just took a couple bumps before coming down the ramp. Guarantee it.

Luger looked pissed at life, and had the sniffles, coming down the ramp. I forgot this was a bull rope match. He had to absolutely hate this match. Did anyone read his book?

Wow. The Japanese ref angle was great in theory. That entire match was horribly executed with four huge talents. Ugh.

Sorry I missed out - ended up having a little too much sake gimmick at dinner (allegedly). I can neither confirm nor deny I passed out before 10pm (9pm CST).
