I'm editing my NL MVP. I don't trust the McCutchen knee issue. My new pick is Paul Goldschmidt.

NL East: Nationals Central: Pirates West: Dodgers Wildcard: Cubs Wildcard: Marlins Cubs over Marlins in NLWC Nationals over Cubs in NLDS Dodgers over Pirates in NLDS Nationals over Dodgers in NLCS NL MVP: Giancarlo Stanton NL Cy Young: Clayton Kershaw NL Manager of the Year: Mike RedmondNationals over Red Sox in World Series Great call slapnuts. The 2015 season is just two weeks old, but one manager has already found himself on the hot seat. Miami Marlins skipper Mike Redmond's job could be in jeopardy, according to the Miami Herald's Clark Spencer. Miami had an awful weekend, dropping four straight games against the New York Mets. With the sweep, the Marlins dropped to 3-10. That's the second-worst record in the National League. According to Spencer's sources, the club has already discussed possible replacements for Redmond. One name that has been mentioned is Mets Triple-A manager Wally Backman. Backman has been in managerial positions since 2002, and has been in his current role with New York since 2013. Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria isn't known as the most patient person when it comes to managers. As Spencer notes, the team has dumped Jeff Torberg and Fredi Gonzalez after slow starts in past seasons, and let go of Joe Girardi and Ozzie Guillen after just one season. The club is still paying Guillen. Redmond's current deal runs through 2017. He signed a two-year extension back in 2014, but that probably doesn't matter considering Loria's history of firing managers in the middle of their contracts. Loria is reportedly upset about the team's play, and could seek a fiery manager. The team already had a closed door players-only Saturday after slugger Giancarlo Stanton suggested the team wasn't playing with "fire" Friday. At the time, Redmond seemed encouraged by the meeting, according to the Herald. “I think it’s always good for players to talk amongst each other and motivate each other,” Redmond said. “It’s up to the players to go out there and motivate themselves. If they don’t like something that’s going on, they work that out among themselves. I think sometimes meetings like that can be productive and hopefully it is for us.” After a strong offseason, in which the team signed Stanton, and acquired Mat Latos, Dee Gordon and Dan Haren, the Marlins were at least expected to contend for a wild card spot. Though it's still early, 3-10 is a significant deficit. Miami will begin a series with the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday. Many projected the Phillies to be among the worst teams in the majors this season, and Redmond's situation could escalate quickly if the team can't pull out a few wins against their division rival.

I'd also like to point out I picked the Pirate and Marlin to win the Wild Card yet the Pirate would play Cardinal in the one game playoff.
