I want to remind everyone of one little used rule of the contest. You may PM me your picks rather than post them here. Somebody might want to use that strategy this week. I will post all the picks at kickoff of each game if they are not posted here.

Sunday Line Update This is the last line update of this contest. The only line that has moved is the Ariz-Carolina total, which has come down 1/2 to 47. So if somebody who has already played that total wants to hit it again, they can.
Good luck boys.

WE HAVE A TIE!
The contest ended with a bit of excitement as Chus made a strong comeback the last month and caught Terry's Peeps on the last day of the contest to split the season prize. Both finished +16.6 units for the year -- a strong showing. Peeps and Chus split the $200 season prize. And Hawg Ass delivers a key three banger (two star play and a rebet) on the very last game total to snag third place from the jaws of KS. The recap: Terry's Peeps is consistent, conservative and for two years now, has picked a lot of winners. He was 56.5% this year. That's pro kind of numbers. He was the leading weekly winner with 4 wins, bringing his total prize money to $200.
Chus has shown a volume strategy can work if you can pick winners above 53%. This is what pro bettors do...they bet a LOT and can earn a living hitting 54-55%. Chus hit 55% this year. An amazing rebound from his -34 units in this contest last year. He won three weeks and brings home $175. Hawg Ass showed he knows what he is doing as he was 2nd last year, third this year and was +13 units this year after finishing up 7.3 last year. He has the best combined two-year performance in this contest of +20.3 units. He won two weeks for $50. KS wins the "Most Improved Player" of the year award, finishing 57.6 units better this year than last year -- +11.9 vs (45.7). This is truly amazing. The days of "fading KS" ended long ago. He won two weeks for $50.
Last year, we had one guy, Piglet, finish above +10 units. This year, we had four. Strong work by you guys!!!
They were the only ones profitable for the year. Kesha didn't have enough plays to qualify for the title. Kirkwood grabs 5th place with -17 units and was shut out of the weekly prizes. Piglet was 6th place with -19.4 units, a drop of 32 units from his winning 12.6 units of a year ago. But losing this year is probably good for Piglet in a perverse way. After last year, he might have thought this is easy stuff. Gambling on sports is an entertaining hobby, but you can lose your ass. Don't ever think about giving up your day job (school) for the lure of quick bucks. Jackref played "boom or bust" as he won three weeks, but finished the season down 24 units. He pockets $75. And I brought up the rear with some truly awful picks, combined with my strategy of picking certain games solely to try to win the week. Not a solid long-term strategy.
Those of you getting $, you can get a check from me or a pay pal deposit. Let me know by pm what you prefer and send me your name and address if you want a check, or your email if you want it by pay pal.
