Not trying to sound like a sappy bitch, but seeing wrestling at Daily's Place just feels right. I'm already loving this show. Why not stay there for a couple weeks every month? I know there's the connection to Covid, but I thought it was a cool spot for a show when AEW started. It would make it more special when you do go out until something heats up again.

Hey, RUSH is on the show too?
Me likely.

After Tony's last NFL Network interview, I realized he's Vince Russo.
And that made me sad. Because for whatever his faults, I never thought of him as that kind of "any attention is good attention" idiot.
But here we are.
It's a shame.

None of this feels like Russo to me. I can't find fault with any of the Tony stuff...yet.
I'm still taking the "see where it goes" approach.

Anna Jay vs. Toni Storm.
Is this a title match? I didn't hear the start.

That parking lot looks like a working parking lot.
Should be in a shoot parking lot!

The Acclaimed need to turn on Billy Gunn and go back to being heels.
They've kind of run their course as babyfaces and could use a refresh.

I'm not sure which would have a better smelling pussy scented candle. I'd lean toward Nikki. Toni's would be hampered by Juice Robinson.

Currently at a bar with my dad for a belated birthday dinner/drinks watching the show (leaving after this Claudio/Swerve match)
I brought up how Swerve was the first black AEW champ and he said “what about Mark Henry?” And I said he was a WWE champion
I’m so fucking proud my dad had a Mark Henry pull

Dailey's Place needs to be a regular spot for AEW.
The crowd and atmosphere is just different.

Claudio went for a piledriver and my dad said Nick Bockwinkel! I had to look it up, he was right.
What a fucking pull of Bockwinkels finisher.
I reminded him we’ve seen Claudio at an Indy show in 2005.
I love this so much, haha

My dad as my sidekick aside, I really enjoyed watching Collision and Rampage tonight.
Granted I explained everything to him (including Sweet Cheek Music), it was still a fun block of wrestling. Hoping for a solid rating.

Great. Less people watched than watched Dynamite.
They had a great 10 minutes, and then people went elsewhere. I'm not sure what that accomplished.

From the first 15 minutes to the next 15, Collision lost 500,000 viewers. And it continued to go down throughout the show.

AEW really needs to look at this like a rebuilding phase. Their peak ended in 2022. Just properly execute everything you're doing and eventually you'll hit on something that brings people back.

Completely agree. They fumbled the ball last week on Swerve. Hopefully they pick it up again starting tonight with the challenger for Double or Nothing. Injuries keep derailing them as well. That piles up after so many. And it makes it hard to try and book long-term if you can't count on them.

Everyone gave WWE shit for not wanting to sign Indy talent a while back. Sure, there were probably some shitty Vince reasons, like there were shitty Vince reasons for everything. But they also didn't want guys that put 20 years of miles on their bodies in 5 years. Not because the performers weren't talented, but you can't trust their health. Can't build and promote around guys like that.
