I didn't know what thread to put this in but you fantasy baseball people better secure Abner Uribe while you still can. Tough news on Devin tonight.

If we waived election rules, this kid would instantly enter the top 1% of intelligence among our politicians.

Jasmine: Baby, we ain't putting
Dusty: BABY? Don't you go callin Dream baby, baby.
Jasmine: You will talk when I tell you to talk.
Dusty: Nobody in 20 years been able to silence Dream and it's not happening today, baby girl.
This goes on literally for 4 hours and 39 minutes regarding the decision to put Rick Steiner over at Starrcade 88.

Random thought: If the White Sox hadn't won in 2005, we'd be heading into year 107 without a championship. That one magical year was more important than we realized.

Think about if the Indians didn't choke away a 3-1 series lead in 2016 too.
The Sox had an historic run of great drafts in the early 90s that didn't lead to anything. The Cubs were determined to build super teams in the early 2000s that didn't lead to anything either.
Instead both seemingly won their "pop-up" championship and then that was it.

Yeah, I think this proves that luck has a lot more to do with it than we think. Two different teams, two different approaches, and almost complete futility for both.

Yeah. It kind of puts a stop to that "right way to win" stuff. Or at least it should.

They looked like they were close a couple times since '82, but just could never get over that hump.
It'll come, and when it does, it's gonna be magical.

Still waiting on that Brewers thing. <sad face> Yeah, you guys are on a short list. The Ueck may never get to see it happen, which sucks because that guy deserves it almost more than anybody.
