Catching up on all of these deals. Doing the Rumble 92' right now. Hearing the names that could have been coming in drive me crazy. Art Barr, Kevin Von Erich, Konnan w/o the Max Moon, etc. It just seems crazy to think about Kevin Von Erich for some reason. Out of the 3 Bruce/Conrad shows this week, this one was my favorite. Finished the Unforgiven 98 one last night and Bruce just heavily defending how safe the Inferno Match was and barely letting Conrad get a word in was really the only part I didn't care for. All Conrad was doing was saying how dangerous it was and Bruce didn't really want to hear it. Conrad also said its no wonder why they haven't done this again to which Bruce reminded him they did, Kane vs MVP. But they're both wrong and Bruce of all people should've remembered they did an Inferno Match on Smackdown with Kane vs Triple H, which Hunter won, of course. Kane v Bray Wyatt at Summerslam 2013

I want to preface this by saying Sable was as roll tide as ever in 98, but when Bruce was saying she was a beautiful woman not stripperish at all in this match versus Luna (after the object of the match was to strip your opponent of her clothes), he's high off his ass. Distracted by the giant beach balls Sable stuffed in her bra.
But I just watched this on the Network again and Sable looked like a low rent stripper here, Meltzer was right (my buddy!). She looked pale. And while I'll never complain about Sable in bra & panties, if you compare how she looked here to the bikini contest later in the year, it's like two different women.
The show itself doesn't hold up, aside from the main event, which was just as fanstastic as I saw it in 98.

Sable was obviously Sable, but there was always something that didn't totally click. She was perfect for the show at that time. But she's not even in my top-ten wrestling women.

She's not in my Top 10 either.
While I've watched wrestling since I was 3, my teen years didn't hit until around 2000, so Torrie, Stacy, Trish & Lita were my girls
Torrie was my number 1.

Sable looked fake. Even as a teenager I saw that and it was meh.
Sunny, Trish, Torrie, Kimberly.
All better.

When I did my Nitro re-watch recently, man, having not really seen a lot of these since they originally aired, Kimberly was beautiful.
Cut to 2018 and the last pic I saw of Kimberly (posted on here), she still looks great. Trish is obviously still gorgeous. Torrie Wilson looks better than 95% of the current women's roster. Then there's Sunny.

Audio needs work on Easy E's side. Souned tinny.
But solid show. Conrad needs to build the rapport up so the ball busting really comes through.

Holy shit.
Nikita Koloff killed his wife with the Russian Sickle. Not Sickle Cell Anemia.
And Tony hearing about Fred the Elephant Boy for the first time.
Casio Kid needs to be in the background every damn episode.

Bischoff: Have YOU ever written a book?
Conrad: No, but I'd love to hear about your Scott Baio series though, what channel is that on?
Hahaha, I popped at that line from Conrad.

I did too and then Eric got defensive.
That's where I think flight miles will help the show.

I might always be an Eric Bischoff guy in a Vince McMahon world. I'll probably be OK with it.

3rd episode of Something Else to Wrestle With is on Shawn Michaels. Specifically 1995 Shawn Michaels. 2 of first 3 episodes are on topics already covered by the podcast.

It's not that far fetched to think there was some correlation between the Sid/Arn stabbing and having, of all people, Sid jump up on the apron at Mania 11 with a knife and cut off a turnbuckle pad.
Because it was Meltzer who said it, Bruce calls it stupid and goes off about it.
Why did Sid need a knife? He's supposed to be a monster, just rip that fucking buckle off, pal.

Hahaha after Bruce bitched about Meltzer saying HBK was the favorite to win the 95 KOTR, Conrad said this gem
"How about instead of getting on Dave, you defend picking fucking Mabel?"

I really enjoyed this show. They're finding their flow with the obvious network changes, although there are no network changes.
