This is what we talked about the last couple weeks. If underneath guys don't want to be around, let them leave.

The TJP one is weird though because it sounded like he was all about the WWE from a couple of articles I read.

Listening to the latest Wresting Observer Radio and Meltzer said that TJP they let go for disciplinary reasons. Anyone know why? I never heard anything as to the reason.
Also he said Arn got released due to something that happened at a house show that Vince didn't like.
Dillinger asked for his release publicly and was thus granted it.

I'm pretty sure TJP was spouting off about creative. I swear I read that a couple weeks ago, but can't find it.
It sounds like the Arn thing was brewing for a while. Maybe having other options made Arn a little less reserved.

Yeah Dave said that Arn wasn't too upset about being let go. So I assume he knew it was happening sooner rather than later.
I also read that about TJP, but saying that he wasn't a fan of creative direction (and also said on social media that he shouldn't have said that) seems like a bullshit reason to let him go. Unless this has been a constant thing. How many times do you see guys & girls bitch about creative on Twitter (whether in character or not) and nothing happen? Seems odd.

Nah, this is the perfect time to let go of a TJP if he's bitching publicly about creative. That starts to spread, everyone is complaining, and now there's a place to go. Let a few of these guys reach their dream elsewhere. Sure, a couple other people might decide to try and get fired. But if it's someone you want to keep, you address it. If not, they can bounce too. Everyone except Arn can be replaced by guys being underused in NXT.

This one is actually pretty surprising. Arn Anderson, who had been a long-time producer for WWE, is no longer with the company. Pro Wrestling Sheet reported overnight that Anderson exited WWE on Thursday and had "apparently been let go" by the company. Further details on why Anderson is departing WWE have yet to be revealed. They've hired Shawn Daivari, Abyss, Shane Helms and Jeff Jarrett as producers recently. Maybe Double A helps AEW? www.wrestlinginc.com/news/2019/03/backstage-news-on-arn-anderson-wwe-firing-651600/Arn Anderson was released from WWE in February due to an incident at a live event with Alicia Fox.
Wrestling Inc. has confirmed with multiple sources that Anderson was fired because Fox showed up at a live event intoxicated. Anderson was the agent for her match and allowed her to perform. Vince McMahon was reportedly furious when he found out and it was the final straw.
Anderson had been working with WWE since WCW folded in 2001. He would occasionally appear in backstage segments and even got physical at the WWE Starrcade event in November of 2017, where he delivered his trademark spinebuster to Dolph Ziggler.
Fox's status is unclear. She was not backstage at RAW last week, and hasn't wrestled since the February 10th live event in Saginaw, Michigan, where she teamed with Mickie James and Nikki Cross in a losing effort to Bayley, Dana Brooke and Natalya. We have reached out to WWE, and will provide an update if we receive it.
That's pretty bad if true.

The fuck is Foxy still doing employed? (something I'd ask well before this incident) Showing up to work drunk? Wrestling drunk? Just stupid shit right there.
This isn't the mid to late 90s.

Stacey Ervin Jr requested his release from NXT following a concussion scare. He's a gymnast who was signed a year or so ago & only had 1 match on TV recently (match with Humberto Carrillo vs The Street Profits), but has been on the house show circuit. He's also the fiancé of US Olympian Simone Biles.
They reportedly gave him time to think about the decision but he's removed any NXT references to social media and it reportedly done.
He's still mid 20s I think so maybe this just wasn't for him. Dude can seriously fly though so hopefully he reconsiders, but can't blame him for not wanting to do this.

Not surprised. Once I saw the blonde interviewer from NXT pop up on RAW and SD the last month or so, that put them at 4 backstage robot interviewers.
All these girls have personalities, but WWE gets their hands on them and turns them into fembots with the most monotone & inane questions.
Renee was the only one I really liked. Then they threw her on commentary (which I was happy for originally) only for her to be allowed to contribute nothing each week.
You'll be missed Charly, err I mean Kayla, err I mean Cathy, err I mean Dasha.

Go do something else.

Harper is almost 40, if he wants to put on legit great matches like he's more than capable of doing (the Dijak one from Worlds Collide this week was great), then why waste his time doing nothing?
Honestly, he'd crush it in New Japan.

Alexander Wolfe tweeted his goodbye to Sanity & WWE and said it's time to walk a different path.
So safe to assume he's left.

The WWE absolutely wasted Luke Harper in my opinion. He could have Main evented the lower tier PPV events.. To beat a dead horse, it just goes back to how they fucked up the Wyatts. They should have gone on an incredible run after beating Cena at mania (which didn’t happen). Wyatt should have went on an incredible ego trip starting to treat his group a little shittier along the way. At some point Harper has enough and then he has to chase Bray (by dealing with Rowan and Strowman) for 3-4 months leading up to a mania match. I’d actually like to see a randomone (or board) version of top ten things WWE fucked up since 2013...

That's honestly something to really think about. These are 10 just off the top of my head, but I'll devote more time to it
-Turning Asuka into just another random girl on the roster -Pretty much everything with Bayley and Sasha -Ziggler post Survivor Series 2014 -The aforementioned Wyatt debacle -EC3 -Braun losing to Roman at Elimination Chamber 2018 -Ambrose heel turn the night Roman announced he had leukemia -Calling up Tomasso Ciampa to the main roster when you knew already he was hurt -Deciding to make WrestleMania 7 hours+ -Vince's infatuation with Brock Lesnar
I'd be interested to hear your list Woodridge (and everyone else's on the board). There's definitely plenty of them.

Fuck that list is depressing.
I'd add Rusev losing to Cena at Mania, the Lana-Ziggler experience, breaking up The Club, the handling of basically anyone who's come up from NXT (with the exception of Kevin Owens).
I'm sure I'm forgetting some.

Good topic here. I would add:
- The inexplicable 2017 push of Jinder Mahal - Suddenly taking the title off Jinder on Smackdown a month BEFORE the show in India, leaving one to wonder what the point of his long reign was - Everything involving CM Punk - Mishandling Nakamura's entire main roster existence - Not having Strowman win the title at SummerSlam '17 - Not having Strowman win the title at Royal Rumble '18 - Not having Strowman win the title at WrestleMania 34 - Waiting four months to put Reigns over Lesnar, when they could have done it at Mania and avoided another year of an absentee champion - Sacrificing Asuka and the entire Smackdown Women's Division to a strange Carmella push - Baron Corbin's unwanted presence dominating Raw segments in late 2018

No one brought up the Royal Rumbles. Those were incredibly hot topics at one time (one worked itself out). Just interesting how many MAJOR blunders you guys listed. Great lists. No disagreements here.
