I don't like that its going to be called the fan. Isn't that a CBS sports radio canned name? If they put the fucking gotlieb show on i will tune in to 540 to hear about breakfast cereal.

I hope they don't tie in with CBS. Their national bullshit is awful. Whatever that crap is that would be on during brewers games was some of the worst radio I have ever heard. That guys voice was brutal.

Here it is Hawger!!!! Two sports talk shows at WAUK-AM (540) have been changed, according to the station. “The D-List” with Drew Olson and Dan Needles, loses its name. The new show, “Alex & Drew,” will feature Olson and Alex Petakas during the entirety of the program from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekdays. Needles will cut back two hours of the show and will be on the air with Olson and Petakas from noon to 1 p.m. weekdays. The new show debuts on Wednesday. Listeners were told about the changes during the last show of the “The D-List” on Monday afternoon. The show had a nine-year run. Needles, the sports director of WISN-TV (Channel 12), was looking to reduce his radio role because of his workload at WISN. The radio station considered giving Needles off Tuesdays year-around, and Thursdays during the football season, but thought that would disrupt the continuity of the show. His one-hour segment is called “Needles at Noon.”Meanwhile, Mitch “Thunder” Nelles steps away from the “Homer & Thunder” show, which airs on 540 from 3 to 6 p.m. weekdays. Gabe Neitzel, who has been producing the show, is to replace Nelles as the new partner for Steve “The Homer” True. the only change is the name and adding the FM signal. 1250 remains. This is not worthy of calling everyone in for a meeting when smackdown is in town.
