This is a little out of left field but you know what's weird about ROH vs the WWE? ROH lets their storylines breathe and then breathe some more. But you're lucky to get a breath in edgewise while watching their pace of action in the ring.
WWE on the other hand will blow through a 6 month program in a month. No patience. However, in the ring they have a ton more patience than ROH.

Yeah the difference is 1 hour of taped TV per week vs. 5 hours of "live" TV per week.
It's also why NXT is successful. You can stretch stories out logically and build them properly.

Another thing the E really needs to learn from ROH is tag team wrestling. There's a huge market for it and the E is hell bent on singles wrestlers. In fact, most of their tag teams in the E are usually just thrown together mish mashes. Usually racially.
ROH completely owns the category of tag team wrestling.

I think they've gotten better with it. Especially with the Usos.
Some guys are just great at tag team.
Imagine if Cesaro and Hero were allowed to be a tag team when they started in FCW?

It's a bummer in WWE, because just when the tag division looks to be getting a shot in the arm it's desperately needed, you have the Usos, Harper/Rowan & Kidd/Cesaro all go down to injuries.

I went 2-3, I was really thinking about not doing this one, but I'm thrilled I got 2 right.
I wonder why they gave AJ the win? Surprised Cole took the loss too. I was hoping he'd get built back up to get back into the title picture.

I sort of thought they'd reward Elgin with the way he has turned his life around as well as the fine showing he had in the G1.
Cole is in a strange holding pattern. The FutureShock stuff was/is cool but weird.
I wish someone would hook up with ROH and spend some damn money. I'd like to see AJ, the Bucks and a few others locked up.

Then again, why the hell don't you have Cole win that 4 way? Dammit, I legit thought that The Kingdom would get back with Cole tonight, that's why I picked both of them!
Styles & Lethal will be great don't get me wrong, so will Cole/Kyle, but damn, why not have Cole win that 4 way & Kyle cost Cole the title?

Just finished watching tonights ep.
-Elgin/Young was hard hitting. Powerbomb into the barricade made me cringe, Elgin is awesome.
-ACH/Caprice was very good. Not a fan of Caprice on the microphone. Hopefully if he aligns with Nana that'll give him a mouthpiece.
-Main event was phenomenal. Kinda surprised by the finish to the main event, but damn do I love Roppongi Vice & Okada. Briscoes are the Briscoes, they'll never let me down and it was great seeing Goto.
Overall great show. I know it didn't further much if any storylines, but ROH to me is a show that doesn't need that. It's a show you watch for WRESTLING, which is something you don't get much of in WWE (aside from when Rollins or New Day wrestles)

That's a great write-up on it. I think it was just sort of an out of sequence show that they went with because the wrestling was so good. I know Kelly & Corino mentioned the All Star Extravaganza event but didn't mention any of the outcomes. I wonder how last minute it was that they made up their minds on the Castle/Young outcome at the PPV?
But yeah. ROH is awesome and the NJPW involvement is even awesomer.

I'm not sure what to make of this:
At the Ring of Honor TV tapings on September 19, a “wrestler’s court” was reportedly held. It’s something that WWE used to do to for talents who are accused of doing something wrong. If they are found guilty then they are usually punished by paying for everyone’s bar tabs or something similar. The ROH case involved referee Gino Colucci. BJ Whitmer was the “judge” and Michael Elgin was the “defense”. Colucci was “cleared of the charges”.
When CEO Joe Koff learned about the wrestler’s court, he wasn’t happy. He sent a statement to talent telling them not to do it again, as they should be focusing on that night’s performances.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, CMLL star La Sombra, along with ROH stars Michael Elgin, Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian will participate in the NJPW Tag League Tournament. La Sombra will likely team with Tetsuya Naito, while Elgin was planned to team with Hiroshi Tanahashi at one point.
