Fair point KS. I thought about creating another thread for what I've got going on. I think I'll start an overall wellness thread when I have time tonight.

Take 2 Day 1
Well, the holidays destroyed my routine. Go figure. I actually did well leading up to Christmas, but once I got back home there were too many college football games, women, and beer to drink. Needless to say, it gave me some extra weight over that time. Very disappointing. I could just give up and not do this or I could start over. I am choosing to start over. With that said, the facts are cold below.
Weight 177.7
Body Fat: 23.2%
BMI: 25
Work-out Warmup + Upper Body 1 training

Remind me not to have Drop In hold me accountable for anything. I'll be dead before I even have a two-pack.

Take 3?
I am on take 1. I started a week ago Saturday. I am 10 days in. The plan is to run 20 miles over the course of every 7 days. That entails usually running 4-4.5 miles every other day. Hit the gym twice per week doing a total body super set/ cutting style workout for around 60 minutes. Most importantly is to curb the holiday beer consumption and to stop eating like shit.
Day 1 208 lb 25 percent BF
Day 10 197 lb 21.4 percent BF

Day 32 190.7 20.0 percent BF
I stayed the same for 8 days on the scale but can see and feel a difference. I can only lose about another 7 or 8 lbs before I hit my baseline. I am still not convinced my scale is in anyway accurate with the body fat. Its the apple scale that works with the fitbit system. What are you using WR??

I call BS on this BF percentage on my apple scale. It uses my height to calculate it somehow which no BF calculation worth a damn should use. I should be somewhere around 11-12 percent. There is no way I could get into the 160's. This thing has to be doing a smart BMI or something. It is not accounting for muscle.

Kesha, great to see you stick with this. I've had trips to Miami and Arizona over the course of the last month and have fell off. I have the Shamrock Shuffle race this Sunday. I ran it in just under 41 minutes I believe last year. I don't see any way I beat that number this year. Bah. damn it

Holy shit. That's almost thirty pounds. You started where I'm at, and you're currently where I want to be. Well done.

Day One. I'm exactly 208.0. In general, my diet is not bad. I don't eat large meals. Small amount of fast food. If I do go out, I only eat half of what's on my plate. No pop, candy, cheetos, etc. I drink water like crazy. I do need to reduce carbs. So essentially, I need to keep doing what I've been doing. But I need to cut almost all alcohol and workout. I won't see a quick drop, and adding muscle will slow weight loss. But 180 lbs. at about 1 1/2 per week is the plan.

Beer!!!!!!!! It's a sneaky sonofabitch!!!!! I never realized it's actually a lot of calories. And the real beers are a doozy! Like eating a candy bar.
I pretty much abstain from any booze 6 days a week. I drink hard one day of the weekend (Friday or Saturday...whichever). I'll maybe squeak in a beer on the weekday.

I have found that using a fitbit has made a huge difference. I got the thing because it was free but actually really like it. You have no idea how inactive you can be during a day until that thing spells it out for you.

It has changed many of my diet choices.

Cracked the 200 marker. 199.8, but I'll take it. The workout is getting cranked up soon.

Nice work
I clocked in at 176.6 yesterday with 16.9 percent bf. This is about the 6.5 month mark. I don't think I have ever maintained my weight like I have this year. Its that damn fitbit. It holds you accountable at all times.
