They absolutely have to keep Cobb. I don't see where they have much of a choice. Worse comes to worse, you Franchise him.
(Which would be kinda cool if someone gets Franchise tagged and then Tim Allen follows him around everywhere he goes for the year)

They never really gave much of a reason other than possibly having to sign Bulaga and some others and that there wouldn't be money for Cobb. And then oddly it turned into signing Suh instead of Cobb.

There is a shit ton of money. TT just likes a buffer of 10 mil to carry over each year. They are going to be 30 mil under next year when they announce the cap. That is plenty of money.

It just got way too Suh heavy. I can't for the life of me see Ted doing that. Not to mention how despised Suh is from several prominent Packers....like the whole offensive line and Aaron Rodgers.
