Joe looked like he's spent the last four months working out. This could be a thing.

The E is already selling Samoa Joe shirts which has led many to believe that he'll be able to keep his ring name.

Hafthor Bjomsson, who plays The Mountain in HBO’s Game of Thrones serires (well…one of the three actors that’s played the character anyways) was front and center for tonight’s NXT Takeover live event. The 6’9 Icelandic strongman was spotted on camera, hanging out ringside with none other than Stephanie McMahon.

Just getting around to watching it on Youtube, but HOLY SHIT, Becky and Sasha were phenomenal. The Power moves from Becky when she lifter her up like Cesaro does...DAMN!!! The pace to the match was very good. Both got in their moves. The false finish arm-bar. And they both kept on selling the arm injuries the entire time, all the way to backstage. The only noticeable botch was the catch on the outside that BL fell down on. And Yes, Becky is hot as hell.
I love Heel Emma. Getting her away from the comedy act was needed. She is very good in the ring. Charlotte is so damn tall that she hits the ropes like the guys. Her chops are kind of weak, but it's a gimmick she has to use. I wish Bayley was hotter.
The only problem I see with all of these top NXT women is that when they go up to the main roster, they will be able to out wrestle every one of them except for Nattie, Paige and a bit of Naomi. The rest are just pretty faces. And that they won't get the time to have a real match and tell a story like they get in NXT.
The Breeze/Balor match was excellent.
The tag was OK, but boy are Enzo, Cass and Mella over.
KO & SZ, Loved the fake Powerbomb on the outside spot. Overall, a Great way to get SZ out to heal up and to further KO's character. The reaction to Joe was awesome. KO playing the heel role perfectly.
The NXT product is so far and away better than the main roster product, it's unbelievable. Things are built and make sense, not just thrown together crap. Actually slowly building and following through a story line. Then building off of that. I love that everyone is not just a body builder and doesn't fit in a specific type. These smaller guys can go.

Score JR has arrived. Sorry didn't know how else to introduce myself.Talking about Sasha Banks though, she has grown so much in NXT and that match was phenominal.

By the way, they think I'm a midget so just run with it. Don't even think about telling them that I basically look exactly like Roman Reigns.

I think a solid discussion of Owens vs Cena at Elimination Chamber needs to be had. I see no reason for Cena to win, Owens needs to just dominate almost at Lesnar level for a few months.

Disagree.
Owens can lose by DQ and remain strong. Cena shouldn't lose but doesn't need to go over.
It'll be interesting for sure to see how it's handled. Owens is a HHH guy so I'm not worried about him being buried.

KS had the theory where Owens basically wins all the titles then faces Lesnar at Mania. The problem isn't Triple H, it's Vince. I'm worried he really wants Rock vs Brock for WM 32.
IMO Owens is the man and deserves to be booked strong. He is getting Cena right away though so I shouldn't be so worried

I agree with Peeps, you can't have Owens look strong only on NXT. Have him either lose by DQ or realize he's in trouble & bail. It'll make the fans hate him for leaving the match & make Cena want another match as well. They don't even have to book it immediately either.
I've actually loved this Open Challenge thing, but one of these times, like I've said before, Cena NEEDS to get caught & lose the title, for however long, it doesn't matter. He can't just steamroll the roster. DQ would be great actually. You could then have Owens ducks Cena for a bit, even have Cena come to NXT. Spread the chase out through both shows to draw more interest in the network.

As for the rest of the show, I thought they did a great job considering 2 out of the 5 guys were hurt. Zayn/Owens will always be there. Itami being hurt sucks, but he'll be just as on fire when he comes back. It's a chance for someone to step up into his place though, I'm really curious to see who.
Cass/Enzo I really enjoy chasing the title. Have them win at the next special or even the one after. It puts heat on Murphy/Blake, something they need. It all needs to end with Enzo/Cass as champs though.
Becky/Sasha was fantastic, which is no surprise. Best part is, they have Emma, Bliss, Bayley, Lynch & despite being very green, Dana Brooke to hold the division is Charlotte gets called up. Plus Jessie McKay just got signed. So they'll be just fine for challengers for Sasha, who's amazing.
Rhyno/Corbin was a fuckin hoss match. It gives Corbin the push & maybe he's the guy to step in for Itami?

As he mentioned, I was telling Score Jr the other day that Owens should beat Cena, then beat whoever has the IC strap, and then beat the world champ as well. Then let him walk around with all 4 titles. Culminating in KO/Brock at Mania.

I'm kind of torn on the whole Cena/Owens thing. Now don't get me wrong, I marked out like a 10 year old when Owens came out to face Cena on Raw. And I'm more than willing to watch their match at EC. But man, where does Owens really go from Cena? The E is just hotshotting and blowing their wad all over the place lately. Makes me wonder about the Network numbers. Just think a nice 6 month/year build up to Cena/Owens would be a bit more prudent.

I know a lot of the IWC is of the opinion that getting the rub from just working with Cena is enough in many cases but I just don't agree with that. The feud with Bray did nothing for Bray - other than send him into a yearlong spiral. The feud with Rusev did nothing for Rusev other than give him 4 straight losses and see the the best thing going in the E get broken up. Gonna be an interesting dynamic between Owens/Cena. It's pretty much Vince's boy vs. Triple's guy.

I'm not even calling for an Owens win. I just don't want this to be a one & done thing. Now that the Rusev feud is done, this is the perfect time to incorporate NXT more & make Owens, their top guy (I say their, because basically NXT is a brand of its own really), come off looking like a beast & not just some one time shot.
With the rate theyre cranking out PPVs, we have about 47 more until Summerslam. I would love Owens vs Cena at Summerslam, but that'll probably never happen.
This sentence in 2015 is insane, but we have Kevin Steen feuding with John Cena in WWE & Samoa Joe in NXT. That's incredible.

While I like the occasional crossover, I do not want NXT to be incorporated into WWE storylines. NXT needs to stay separate.
Unless they do a complete "new generation" thing and have Hunter take control of the company with his guys and eliminate Vince's (current) guys and girls.
Say sports entertainment is dead and professional wrestling is back.
It won't happen but I can dream.
