Coast is full of piss and vinegar this morning!!! Loving the fire and pashun I don't 100% agree with standing on the walkway thing. I like using them to walk faster but I understand people will let the moving belt do the work. At the very minimum I ask they do not pull a Trump and BUILD A WALL. As long as they keep the left open so I can zoom by it's all good. moving walkway = escalator. is what it is

Yeah I'm having an old man yells at the clouds kind of day. That happens when I have to deal with fat fucks in my seat and standers blocking the walkway. Sure, if everyone did stand to the side of the walkway, it wouldn't be a problem. But that's not what I'm talking about. It seems some people just have no self-awareness about how they are blocking the left lane and being assholes to the people around them.. on walkways or highways, for that matter.

Time for the airlines to put walls between the seats in economy, like they have in business class. Too many fat fucks that can't keep their flab or their elbows inside their boundaries. If you can't keep your fat ass within your own seat, then buy two seats. And push yourself away from the table while you're at it. My fat, your problem! Saw an even fatter fuck today but fortunately not in my seat. Poor young woman next to it was so crushed, she moved to another seat. If someone is that fat -- so fat they spill over their seat, why don't they just stay home and go for the record?

Sitting in an airport (Raleigh!) and this middle aged black dude is running like the wind through the airport. An old lady says "Go OJ Go". The "older" people laughed. The younger people didn't; they seemed to have no clue what was so funny. LOL.

Traveled to NYC for the 1st time in my life. I'd been to Upstate NY many times with family to vacation at a rented lake house. NYC never was on the way so we never visited. In fact, I've traveled the West Coast far more than the East Coast which I guess is kind of backwards.
Anyways, I didn't do NYC "right" as we went for a long weekend with Saturday 2 hours west of NYC for a wedding. So we technically were only there Friday, half of Sunday and then Monday morning we left.
Travel wise - Delta Shuttle - absolutely GLORIOUS. Nearly hourly flight to/from NYC/Chicago. Dedicated terminal just for shuttles to DC/Chi/Boston. Piece of cake. Everything else? Dreadful. Their tolls are a fucking shit show. $15 toll to cross a bridge?!?1 Then another $8 to cross another bridge?!?! WTF
There is traffic, construction and road hazards EVERYWHERE. It feels like everything takes 30 minutes to an hour to get to. Holy ballsack does it suck.
NYC itself. Wow, can't even describe it. A motherfucking jungle is right. The diversity was really cool to see. Chicago has a lot but NYC is another level. It's just a overwhelming city that 1.5 couldn't even come close to tackling.
Biggest thing - fucking a is it expensive. I just bled money over this weekend. A damn shakedown.
I'd like to visit again but it's no where near list of next places to go. Whereas if you suggested Nashville or San Diego I'd go next week and the weekend after I'm good with NYC for a while.

I signed up for GlobalEntry in early February after getting pissy at the Tucson airport where security was one scanner. The line took forever. PreCheck comes with Global Entry and it's fantastic. I've seen PreCheck lines get pretty nasty Monday mornings and Thursday evenings but they're still FAR SUPERIOR than regular lines. Shoes stay on, only laptop needs to come out and the people seem to be very familiar with security routine.
WORTH IT.

I think the cat is out of the bag with Nasville. We had vendors from Nashville visit 2 weeks ago. They were saying how the city is EXPLODING. Something like each day 80 or was it 800? people are moving to Nashville metro. Supposedly condos/apartments are getting built left and right. I haven't been since last October so it's been a while.

Now I forgot what the daily figure they said was. Point being it's quickly growing and people are flocking b/c of the live music and dining scene.

Another weird thing this weekend was we drove through New Jersey to get to the wedding site. On our drive back we stopped to get gas before returning the car in shakedown city. In New Jersey you're not supposed to pump your own gas!!!! WTF!!!! It's illegal to pump your own fuel!!! You have to wait for a guy to come by, takes your credit card or money and then you tell how how much gas you want.
One of the dumbest rules ever.

I just travelled somewhere on a plane with a professional football team. You get ten questions...yes/no answers to figure out the team. There will be a prize tbd

Or is one at a time cool?

This isn't going to be an NFL team. They charter their own flights and the chargers wouldn't have flown home and arrived already and no one that played on thu/fri would wait until now to go home.
