Dammit, I was expecting a picture of Brutus Beefcake to tie it all up, Speeps disappoints me again, sigh.

Why are they even having the tourney? Just have Vince come out and hand Samoan Jar Jar the bouncer in riot gear the belt.

The problem with the 98 tournament as opposed to today is star power. The Rock, Mankind, Stone Cold, Kane, Undertaker, all these guys were threats to potentially become champion. Then you could work from guys past feuds (Rock/Shamrock, Stone Cold/Mankind, Kane/Taker) into the tournament to make earlier rounds entertaining.
That's not the case with the roster today. They are so set on certain guys, unless something monumental happens, it really is Reigns or Ambrose to lose.
what worries me is Cesaro/Sheamus. I haven't read spoilers, nor will I, I have no interest in the Bears game, so I'll be watching this tonight. But I assume taking Sheamus out early would makes forget about the briefcase. Incredibly worried he leaves Survivor Series with the title.
Kalisto vs Ryback? Del Rio vs Stardust? Why not just throw names into a tumbler Battlebowl style?

Not all the first round matches will be happening on Raw tonight. Some will be on Smackdown as well.

What if Hunter steals the briefcase from Sheamus?

I would rather see Sheamus with the belt than this guy.

I miss these serious Trips promos. He's been watered down so much from goofy face/semi-serious heel each week with Steph. Nice to see him out there by himself (which is weird, because I like looking at Steph).
If Reigns turns heel, it'd be so ridiculously predictable now after this. They need someone new to become "Triple H's guy" & dammit it needs to be Cesaro!! It won't be, but dammit it should!
"All you have to do, is be my man." Haha, that took a weird turn.

They were piping in cheers when Reigns did his "I won't sellout" thing. The crowd was booing. Hahahaha.

Why does it matter Reigns is facing Big Show if it isn't a one night tournament? Everyone knows Reigns will win, because he's defeated Big Show fifty times. If it's a one night, Show is on a mission to at least mess him up.

Oh yeah, I already forgot this was taped. They could give Reigns Austin-esque type cheers if they wanted!
Apparently New Day got the biggest cheers of the night, wonder if they'll edit that a little? Hope not.

JBL is still living off the money he made during his 04-05 title run?
I'm sure the stock market had nothing to do with that.

Count how many times they've said Roman Reigns from the time he pinned Big Show until they cut to the commentary table after showing the brackets. Has to be at least 20, no joke.
YOU WILL KNOW HIS NAME & YOU WILL FUCKING LIKE IT!!

Why are they hell bent on him being the next face of the E for a decade and beyond. He doesn't do anything well....has bad look and his worst skill is talking. Talking is kind of important for the guy doing all of your PR stuff wouldn't you think? I think cena's character is stale as hell but the man can talk and command a crowd. Reigns isn't all that young either. Isn't he 30 or 31?

Looking at the brackets, I'm predicting this (there's a reason Ambrose & Reigns are on 2 different sides top & bottom)....
Roman Reigns Cesaro Del Rio Ryback (Kalisto could pull an upset, but only for 1 round) Owens Neville Ziggler Ambrose
Reigns Del Rio Owens Ambrose
Reigns vs Ambrose for the finals

Watching that clip again of Del Rio beating Cena, it just annoys even more. You had Cena have some of his best in ring work in years for weeks, months even, kicking out of finisher after finisher, only to lose in 7 minutes to a shitty backstabber & superkick?
Boo.
