I'm surprised Vince hasn't rolled off the apron yet.

I don't care what anyone says. They just got Philly to cheer for Roman Reigns winning the title. Well done.

If you mute it, it's more of a feel good moment I found (I already deleted it off the DVR, but it felt like Cole said Reigns' name literally 30 times in the last 2 minutes of the show, he's driving it home, I get it, but shit, even for WWE standards it felt overdone). I absolutely agree though, they pulled out the big guns in order to get this dude over, they had to, literally nothing else worked. For over a year, this dude was shoved down the fans throats, when literally all it took was punching a 70 year old in the face that did it.
I 100% agree with you Speeps, I was pleasantly surprised they did it on a Raw. The moment itself I enjoyed, it's the journey we all (as fans & the company itself) took to get to that moment that was exhausting and not in a good way. Had he not been booked so poorly & had he had better acting/promo skills, I think it could've been such a bigger moment. Not saying Mankind winning the title from The Rock moment, but for 2015, it could've been even bigger.
It's not from a wrestling ability standpoint either, I never minded Reigns' matches, incredibly repetitive, but all of the rosters matches typically are. It was a rare bright moment in a year filled with shit. So in that regard, even as someone who has been fed up with the product for a long time, last night was a very strong show. Let's just hope they don't fuck it up.

Now we have the hangover. Even Philly is behind Samoan Diesel, but is he really talented enough to be the top guy? The direction they take is very important, but how he handles it is equally important. Hopefully giving in to sports entertainment writing, and using professional wrestling booking, is a sign. Supposedly the guy is really entertaining when given the chance. He always strikes me as a guy who has always been told he's entertaining because he's good looking. It's like the model that thinks she's funny because everyone laughs. "Oh yeah, that bit you did about shoes the other day. Young George Carlin stuff. Hilarious."
I hope it works because I want the universe and I to be entertained.

What's the deal with Barrett? They forgot he was part of the group and he was scared to say anything.

They forgot he was part of the group and he was scared to say anything. There’s been a lot of speculation about King Barrett’s WWE status after he appeared on the WWE TLC Kickoff pre-show in a backstage segment but did not appear on the actual pay-per-view broadcast or last night’s RAW. It was reported on Wrestling Observer Radio today that Barrett is injured. He has still been backstage but he’s unable to do anything physical. No word yet on exactly what the injury is or the severity of it but we will keep you updated.

Meltzer went on to say if he's injured, it's apparent that he's injured. If it's not a case of injury, he's likely not injured. According to sources.

Dudes with Attitudes 2015 reunited after the show. Roman thanked the Philly crowd for being assholes at the Royal Rumble. I'm sure someone said "Cane Roman's Daughter for Her Birthday!" vid.me/bsMM

I just have to say JBL was on "far"(Fire for the rest of us) these last 2 days. He had so many great little comments that made me pop.
And it's fine that they finally gave the strap to Roman. You knew they were going to, so now they have and it's up to them to keep us entertained.

From Ryan Satin (the dude who wore wrestling shirts on TMZ a while back) and his website.....
Former Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett‘s noticeable absence from TV the past 2 days has been due to a nerve injury in his neck … but Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned he won’t be out long.
Sources close to Barrett tell us he received a bad stinger while wrestling a few weeks back and now he’s taking time to let it heal. However, we’re told it’s not serious and he should return soon. No word on how the injury occurred, or who he was wrestling.

Raw ratings jumped 25% from last week.
3.88 million.
That's most likely unsustainable but that's a huge jump.
