New Day vs Y2AJ was very good a few weeks ago. But that match we just saw blew it out of the water.
15 minutes, not having to stall for commercials, not doing goofy spots, instead it was 4 dudes who wrestled their asses off with no dumb storylines of "I'm turning on you because the fans chanted your name!"

New Day vs Y2AJ was very good a few weeks ago. But that match we just saw blew it out of the water. 15 minutes, not having to stall for commercials, not doing goofy spots, instead it was 4 dudes who wrestled their asses off with no dumb storylines of "I'm turning on you because the fans chanted your name!" It wasn't just using traditional tag tactics, but integrating the athleticism of 2016. These guys could sprint the mats from their corner in a traditional five count. It was pro wrestling in 2016. |

Baron Corbin is an actual, proper fucking heel. He doesn't pander to the crowd. He doesn't try to be anything he's not.
His gimmick absolutely works for him.
I know people don't like him, but he's a rare breed these days.

Not sure what kind of heel Baron Corbin is. At first he was a guy who steamrolled guys, then he was a silent but deadly heel, in this match he's a loudmouth boasting/posing for the crowd heel.
Dude needs to pick a persona. If he's a heel, fine, but he can't be every single version of a heel.

Maybe it's more character development, but it'll take a while before I'm on board with it.
I do however, like that he's, like you said, an indy-killer.

This crowd is kind of annoying. Cheer your face off during the intros but how are you even watching the match if you are busy coordinating your next chant. Go nuts when the match is awesome but don't chant the entire damn match because the thought of the match is awesome.
