Just last week on March 17th WWE confirmed that The New Day vs. The League of Nations at WrestleMania 32 would be for The New Day's WWE Tag Team Titles.
The official match preview on WWE's website no longer mentions the titles being on the line and is now billing the match as a "Battle for Supremacy" between the two teams. The match will still be a Handicap Match with Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods vs. King Barrett, Rusev, Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio.

It was announced as a Tag Title Match but the WWE website now took that stipulation off and the tweet announcement from last Friday was deleted.

Good grief. Is it even going to make it onto the main show? This Mania gets more riveting by the second.

Usos vs Dudleys are in the pre-show, presumably this match is to set up the rematch at Extreme Rules which I assume will be the Tables match. Because why the fuck would you burn a Tables match on the pre-show?
So glad this Dudleys return has been such a success. Then again wrestling on the pre-show of Mania beats the piss out of any show TNA has put on.

So Ambrose pretty much has to win, right?

So Ambrose pretty much has to win, right? Not at all. In fact, it will be better if he doesn't.

Not necessarily.
If he keeps fighting and pushes Brock as far, if not farther, than anyone in recent memory and loses I think he come out looking good.

I just don't see where he's pushed Brock at all. He's been destroyed every single time.

Agreed. Nobody is even close to them. I would've considered Y2AJ a decent bet to have beaten them had they gone that way but that's about it.

What would be the Top 5 matches you're most interested in seeing at Mania? I think I'd go:
1. Ambrose/Brock 2. Jericho/AJ 3. Shane/Taker 4. Sasha/Becky/Charlotte 5. Trips/Reigns (mostly just for the reaction if Reigns wins)

6. HHH/Reigns 5. Intercontinental Ladder Match 4. Charlotte/Sasha/Becky 3. AJ/Jericho 2. Brock/Ambrose 1. Taker/Shane

Why did they change it to a non-title match? It would seem nonsensical for New Day to lose at Mania, but WWE.

Trips/Reigns (mostly just for the reaction if Reigns wins) I'm not trying to be a dick, but these are all equal for me. That's not particularly good, because you should want to see at least one match over everything else. I will be hooked for each of these matches like a good mark. Each will bring something I'll be looking for as a fan, not cranky internet guy.

I think they changed New Day vs League of Nations to non title because I sadly think Michael Hayes might get involved. It's Texas, they've been preaching the Freebird rule, New Day is inducting them the night before. Michael Hayes has his moment gyrating with 3 black gentleman. It all adds up. It's Michael Hayes' Mania moment. Whatever happens, guarantee Barrett eats the pin.
They've crammed 6 months storyline for AJ/Y2J into less than 2 months. Ridiculous. If they were going to make them a tag team, they should've been a team for at least 3-4 months. But instead they want to do AJ/Y2J 4 (FOUR!!!!) at Mania. There is literally nothing special about it. Love both wrestlers, heel Jericho is incredible, but what makes me believe this will be anything different from their previous THREE matches?
The biggest key to Taker/Shane is if Taker loses he no longer can wrestle AT WRESTLEMANIA, not retire. So I think Shane wins.

Couldn't Shane just overturn that stipulation of Vince's then? Since he'll be in charge.

Few things: I think they made a pretty sizable mistake in not have Finn Balor ready for this Mania. Especially with how much time they had after knowing Cena, Rollins, Cesaro etc.... would be out. He could've really added to this card. And I don't think it would've affected NXT all that much, if at all with the way people love NXT. They'd be watching showing up to NXT events regardless.
I know Titus said that he won't be at Mania but man is Vince a dickhole if he doesn't at least let Titus get into the Andre deal.
If all the injured guys are returning shortly after Mania, and if a few guys come up from NXT, I really think they need to introduce a TV Title. That's just gonna be way too many guys for so few belts.
BUT
Not enough guys for a brand split which I think is a horrible idea.

Absolutely. Plus, I've said this before, why would Trips/Reigns go on last if Shane wins? Shane has said he would remove Trips/Steph out of power. Why wouldn't Shane, now in charge, say I'm holding the title up.
Makes me think they'll put Taker/Shane on last. Then again they could say "Triple H has lost everything tonight, except for his WWE title, he's bound & determined not to let Roman Reigns take all he has left!"
Even though that sentence makes no sense.

First, they definitely have enough talent for a brand split. If anything, it could lead to them actually investing in characters like Tyler Breeze. They wouldn't have a choice.
Second, I disagree with the AJ/Jericho thing being rushed. It's not Michaels/Jericho. Hopefully AJ gets a decisive win, and Jericho will have sauce when he returns.
If Vince caves on his revised decision regarding Titus, he looks even weaker. An old control freak would have trouble letting that happen. It's Titus, not Stone Cold.
I will say this about the last three Manias. We walked away happy. At least I did. The lack of continuity, sense, etc. makes sense. When we watch the old shows, we realize it's always been this way. I'm going to sit back, enjoy, and hope Don doesn't try to Patrick Kane me.

Not sure they have enough talent. Look no further than Wrestlemania.

The other thing with brand splits is that they are always horrible and end up in one big gigantic convoluted mess. Aside from the brief run of the Smackdown Six or whatever it was called.
I fear instead of better writing and programs, we'd just get more and more recaps and nonsense.
All that said, if they played it right then maybe at least the Raw guys could get an extra day off.

I'm pumped for Mania and NXT and for those who follow it Evolve is having a show headlined by Ricochet vs Will Osprey which could be match of the year.
Most looking forward to in order Taker vs Shane Ambrose vs Brock Jericho vs AJ Woman's Triple Threat Reigns vs Triple for crowd reaction IC title ladder match. New day match due to Meltzer claiming some big angle is being planned at the end.
This is what gets me about Shane, and I've been heavily thinking this. Every other time Shane wrestled, we expected nothing and for greatness. The spots far outshine the match (except for the Angle match) and as much as we love him, a non wrestler is Main eventing Wrestlemania. Point is I still have high hopes and am excited for the match, I feel like our expectations are through the roof and won't be met. Pair that with the fact it will end with a huge angle (hopefully Kurt) where the Bullet Club, Cena, anything could happen. There's just part of me thinking the day after Mania, we'll be disappointed with the Main Event. Hopefully I'm wrong though.
KS, we've been through this, Ambrose should win but will most likely lose. Remember Punk vs Lesnar at Summerslam? Combine that with Austin vs Bret at Mania and I think that's the direction they're going

We were so ready to shit on WM 30. Some of us were at Lisa's restaurant for the Rumble. We destroyed the Rumble, as we should have done. We were certain it would be the worst Mania ever. As I watch WM 30 alone right now, because everyone else will fall asleep, we got the opening deal with Hogan, Austin, and Rock. We also were provided with Taker v Lesnar. Oh, and Danielson winning everything. I also had an amazing time because of the people watching it with me. I'm not saying this Mania will be the best. But we're going in with low expectations, and I ask everyone to have an open mind. This is why we still watch at an advanced age. Just enjoy the ride on Sunday.

By the way, Hunter sells like nothing else. He could put over a one-legged man, unlike his Father-in-Law.
