It's the night after Wrestlemania. The night WWE pulls the nerds back in with a still drunk live audience, surprises, and occasional change in direction. I have a vested interest in North Carolina, Cubs home opener, and a feeling I'll be on the Chris in Joliet plan and pass out by 9 PM. But we'll see what happens. Tonight begins........The Roman Empire.

Word is there are going to be multiple debuts tonight.
My guess is Enzo/Cass, Corbin & Machine Gun/Gallows.

I kinda like Corbin. I was reading up on him a bit and somehow found this pic of Big Poppa Pump. Those are some interesting tatts he has adorned himself with.

Overall disheartening show last night. However, with respect to the new folks showing up for a segment or two, and the return of Cesaro to take back the IC belt (that's right, I said it ... hell maybe Goldberg, who knows), maybe for another week I can be interested. I haven't spent any real time looking for such, but I'm shocked .... shocked I say .... at the apparent lack of gifs/gifvs/streamables/whatevers of Stephanie and her Evil Lyn-inspired outfit, and I'm not typically in the pound-my-pud-for-Steph crowd. I mean, it doesn't take any effort to shit on the overall program ... often times doing so involves accepting that you're being Comic Book Guy by forcing some criticism of this or that. Production values were pretty good (Except when Roman "punched" the video star ... the video was off by more than a second and, consequently, so was the pyro). The stage/ring/lighting was, frankly, gorgeous. It was just all style, no substance ... like they brought out this exquisitely decorated cake and, come to find out, it was mostly just fondant and frosting with little actual cake ... which is also a metaphor for my 'life', but that's not why you called. I sure hope tonight is either entertaining or, if it's not, shit on mercilessly by the post-Mania crowd in response. Now, get off my lawn ... I've got an old tape of Jerry Blackwell pounding a nail into a board to go watch, if you know what I mean.

My plan as of right now is to watch Raw and the Cubs, but the chances of me staying awake are slim to none. Unless we see the return of this guy and I get all pumped up:

WWE has announced that Sheamus and King Barrett will face WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day on Monday night’s post-WrestleMania 32 RAW from Dallas.
The titles will be on the line Monday night. This comes after The League of Nations defeated The New Day in a six-man match at WrestleMania.
WWE has also announced The Dudley Boyz vs. The Usos in a Tables Match for tonight. The Usos defeated The Dudleyz at WrestleMania Sunday night.

Opening remarks from the broadcasters indicate they're terribly concerned about the crowd shitting on Roman still.

This opening could have been interjected into the match last night.

Hahaha.
Better than Roman chants.
So Shane lost and is in charge of Raw anyway.

First, I admitted last night I do the Kofi clap when New Day comes out on Raw. By myself. Stop judging like my neighbors.
Hot open, spins right into New Day coming out. Where was all of this last night?

All that storyline stuff - fuck it, gone.
The stipulations from the match last night - fuck it, gone ... temporarily anyway.
Nothing means anything anymore.
At least there's a trombone in the ring, so I'm ok. (edit: I see that it's a rarely-seen soprano trombone ... still does the job)

These foreign announcers all look like marks WWE pulled out of the crowd and gave suits. Each has the look of having multiple felonies in their home country.
