Addy Russell with a 3 run bomb to put the Cubs ahead 5-3 heading into the 9th!
Realize this is the wrong thread, but it's far more entertaining than this main event.

Wasn't a bad match.
Crowd was into it.
Solid edition of Raw.

The most solid wrestling edition of Monday Night Raw in a very long time. Last week had 1 good match with the main event. This show had 4-5 great to good matches.
But how do they come off this? Going back to Vince next week? Or do they say "Oh, after popular demand, Shane gets Raw for a 3rd week?"

According to F4WOnline.com, plans were in place prior to Raw last week to have Shane McMahon run Raw again tonight, with the story line being that ratings were through the roof for the post-Mania Raw, so Shane is in charge again this week. Because ratings for Raw last week ended up being nothing special, WWE went with the story line explanation that Shane received tons of social media support from fans this week, so Vince decided to allow him to run Raw again tonight.

They just must be splitting the rosters. There's these 8 teams in the tournament. Plus there's the New Day, they can always make tags out of the Wyatts, the LOD, Titus and whoever etc....
That's waaaaay too many teams for just one roster.

Doesn't having Dr. Phil involved with this kind of defeat the whole purpose of legitimatizing the division that actually calls them women now? Or am I reading too much into that? I mean basically it's, "Ok, you're women now but you're still bat shit crazy and need a man to solve your problems."
I hope that wasn't too DiCaro.

Since I mentioned the abundance of tag teams a few posts back, they've added even more!! Brand split coming for sure. That's like 15 tag teams now.

I had to watch it quickly last night. But I found myself getting upset because I wanted to watch every segment.

RAW Viewership Drops Considerably Following WrestleMania
WWE RAW received a considerable bump in the television ratings last week following WrestleMania 32, but it was back to reality this week for WWE’s flagship show.
RAW drew an average of 3.529 million viewers this week. The April 4 show one week ago drew 4.079 million viewers, so their audience dropped 13.5 percent. This week’s April 11 broadcast was also down considerably from the go-home RAW prior to WrestleMania on March 28 that drew 3.764 million television viewers.
The hourly breakdown for the show was as follows:
First Hour: 3.474 million viewers (4.287 million viewers last week) Second Hour: 3.687 million viewers (4.178 million viewers last week) Third Hour: 3.427 million viewers (3.816 million viewers last week)
What stands out is that the show was relatively consistent throughout. There was a jump in viewers during the second hour, and then the show dropped down to just under what they drawing during the first hour of the show.
RAW was second for the night in the 18-49 demographic, with the second hour of the show doing the best there with a 1.31 rating. Overall, the show’s 3.529 million viewers made it the most viewed show on television Monday night in the cable television ratings.

Truly hope they (meaning Vince) doesn't see this as last night not working. I see it more like the WrestleMania boom is over & they did NOTHING to keep new viewers interested in the Raw after Mania. Aside from the main event & briefly the Cass/Enzo promo, absolutely nothing stood out.
Last night's Raw was fantastic. It's usually 2 or 3 segments tops are good on Raw, but last night it was 2 or 3 segments were just ok, while the rest of the show was excellent.
