I legit think Primo & Epico are evil travel agents.
"We're booking you a one way trip......on the lose cruise." "We're sorry, the days you're looking to travel are all....blacked...out!"." "It appears this beating is non-refundable."

The perfect show might be over. 8 woman tag coming up.

The show derailed a bit after it's perfect start. The 8 woman tag was a cluster. I see some of you like the Vaudevillians. I must say that I'm not in that camp. However I was thrilled to see the Usos lose. I can't see Apollo Crews going all that far in the E if the best they got to hype him up is constantly mentioning his smile. The main event was outstanding. I'd give the show a solid 8 out of 10.

Listening to Wrestling Observer Radio with Alvarez & Meltzer and both of them are saying how the crowd didn't seem into it last night especially the Owens/Ambrose match. They said the crowd for Zayn/Jericho was ok, but wasn't that good. They liked the wrestling match, but didn't like the finish much.
I wouldn't say the crowd was dead. Show started to lag towards the end, but I think Alvarez especially is so caught up on the zero logic of Shane in charge that it puts him in a pissy mood for the whole show. He's been watching too much TNA as that show puts anyone in a bad mood.
I do agree with them when they said that these tag tournament matches haven't felt special at all. The first round matches sucked & the semis just felt like random matches with nothing special about them. I did however enjoy the Cass/Enzo match. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either.

Meltzer said the reason we didn't hear Lilian Garcia announce Enzo & Cass as the winners was apparently she announced him a COLON Cassady. People were pissed she fucked it up backstage, so they just edited it out.
Good Lord, can she just be permanently replaced by Eden. Lilian messes up so much.

Between Eden, JoJo and now that Andrea Ocampo, the writing seems to be on the wall.

Was it Jericho winning that they didn't like? Or how he won? Or something else? Jericho beating AJ at Mania is starting to make a lot more sense to me. They've really legitimized this run of his. And it probably invigorates him. I know it does me. I do not mind these wins at all. All of his losses and putting people over during his past few runs has taken a lot, if not almost everything, out of us being excited about him and his feuds. These wins change everything.

There's something missing with Owens/Ambrose. I remember shitting on fans for leaving their house show match a while back. Still not acceptable, but they don't have a very good working chemistry. Absolutely love each guy individually, but I don't think they fit right now.
The tag matches haven't been special, but I like the direction they're going. In many ways, booking in general is like booking a tournament. Just spread out over years.
Jericho definitely needed wins. Wins and losses don't matter, unless you've been the good soldier that's been taken advantage of on multiple returns. I understand people upset with the 50/50 booking, and the Mania win against Styles. But I'm OK with it as Styles didn't miss a beat. That's key. Jericho was a HUGE part in getting AJ over with the WWE crowd. So over that losing to Jericho at Mania didn't matter. I will argue that's why they don't get anyone white hot, but I can justify the Jericho win.

I was just about to watch those matches again. I think Alvarez is wrong about the crowd. Then again I really don't care what a crowd thinks as it doesn't influence me whatsoever. But I'm almost certain that there were "This is awesome" chants in the Owens/Ambrose match. Possibly in the Jericho/Zayn match as well but not for sure on that one.
On a side note, I think people will come around to Zayn big time when all is said and done. It's just that not all that many people really know who he is yet so I'm far from surprised when he does indeed get a less than desired crowd response. It'll get there as long as he stays healthy.

I thought the Shane/Ambrose interaction was deliciously awkward.
Jericho saying to Zayn "There's a lot bigger issues here than your stupid idiot emotions" hahahahaha
