Expected to be a high scoring close game, so multiple lead changes would be very possible and wonderful for live betting. I've had it circled as the best game of the week for live betting to create profit on both sides. We'll see if it works out.

I may be completely wrong here, but I was trying to do the math on your bets.  I have you as losing about $1,023, not $1,100.  I think the mistake is on the +108 bet that you lost.  That bet should have cost you about $463, not $540 (i.e. a -108).  That changes the math by $77. 

Edit:  Maybe the +108 was a mistake.  It seems weird to have a positive line against the spread...I was just trying to figure out how your rules work. 

Edit 2:  I just checked out that site, and there actually are some + bets even against the spread almost like small teasers.  You give up the hook and you get paid for it.  Interesting.  I am going to Vegas the weekend before Thanksgiving.  I am going to pick one of you guys as my betting star and match your bets for the weekend.  Saves me having to do any work and then I have a built in excuse when I lose. 

I am slightly interested, but my generally sports betting rule is this- keep it in Vegas to make sure it stays fun. I always liked following Chus' picks and seeing his opinions. You guys have a good thing going with this little contest.

The thing I want to avoid is staying up late on Sunday night because I am trying to cover a football game. Some guys at work had a contest where we did this with real money, and I was betting hockey lines and NBA games and watching way too much tv. You put $5 on a game and you spend three hours glued to your tv hoping some guy hits a free throw in a blow out win to pop your 192 over.

Denis, when people bet flat amounts like Ryan's $500, I score it as a flat bet. That is, if it's -110, it would be -550 to win 500, and if it's a dog, say +108, it would be $500 to win $540. Most people bet this way, rather than dealing with pocket change in payouts.

Having said that, your comment did cause me to look at Ryan's sheet again and sure enough, I scored his +108 as -108. He lost $500 on that bet, not $540 as I had scored it.

Ryan, your totals for the week and year have been fixed above and your losses reduced by $40. Thanks to Denis, he found my mistake.
