I am going to give the new season a try, but I really wanted this to be one season deal. Haven't started yet. You need to trust our TV thoughts. Except for KS with Milwaukee sports. But the Movies & TV thread has some great options.

Hah. My wife gives me crap because I am really picky, especially with movies. I loved the entire concept of Westworld, but I thought the ending got weird. I caught 45 minutes of season 2, episode 1. Seems ok, but the fresh excitement of Season 1 is long gone. I'll be watching but just not crazy about the entire concept.
I just finished Casa de Papel (Bank Heist). I thought it was silly to have a second season, but the show ending was good enough to justify it.

I thought the final scene was just strange, and they have continued the weirdness with the new season. Just wholesale slaughtering of everything. I would prefer something with more nuance instead of mass chaos and death.
When I first starting watching the show, I guess I figured it would be more guest focused. It turned out to have this odd, difficult to figure timeline and became host focused. That's fine, it just went down a path I didn't expect nor particularly like. Some of the stuff really makes you suspend belief.

I don't really like any Science Fiction aside from Star Wars. Everything I really like is based on reality. (Edit Oh, and Thrones. And Wrestling. Shut up.) I'm watching again and love the twists. I just hope they don't get lazy. Entertain me!

Really enjoyed the episode.
The backstory of William and the rest of the Delos family was entertaining, and Dolores in the park with her army and new sidekick was great. Older William and Lawrence had a nice story too.
What is Glory?

Older William and Lawrence had a nice story too. What is Glory? I legit have no idea about Glory. Which brings me to my next point. Jackref wants to do a rewatch. I say we do a Royal Rumble 2014 reunion. Speeps, WR, Jackref, and Drop In, with anyone else welcome to join. We don't have to pick specific days, but try to get through all the episodes by a set time. I know for a fact I've missed a ton of shit along the way.

Does this thing come down to Dolores vs Maeve when it’s all said and done?

Does this thing come down to Dolores vs Maeve when it’s all said and done? I think so. It's going to be great having Dolores be the eventual villain. Lee with Maeve and Hector didn't say a word tonight and he still made me laugh with his getup.

Just watched this at lunch. That was an awesome episode. Glory isn't a place but a weapon and Dolores only knows about it because William showed her way back when. Interesting though how they are changing the premise a bit. Last season William came with his brother in law and they made it seem like he had no idea what the place was. This season he seems to be an architect of the place. I am guessing we will get to a part where he differs greatly with Robert and hence the riff. Still trying to figure out the timeline with Bernard and Dolores though. And is that the real Bernard or replacement Bernard?

I think all the stuff with William (other than the cold open) takes place after Logan and William's adventures with Dolores in the park. I think what he shows Dolores is the beginning of the other parks. I think it was originally only Westworld that Ford and Arnold created and William came up with the other parks.
This could be why MiB William says "Glory" is his greatest mistake and Dolores sees it as a weapon. She can have an army.
Who knows though.

So that's what the end of a park looks like.

So Ghost Nation has the girl from India World (park 6) and Maeve and the gang, who've reunited with Armistace (sporting a new Vader hand and flamethrower) as well as Felix and the other tech from last year, ran into some Samurai from Shogun World (park 2).
I love this fucking show even though I'm thoroughly flummoxed.

Isn’t the world from India World Young Teresa? Or am a I off? Don't think so. The tiger that attacks her is the one that the security team found dead in week one. So the woman has to be in the same timeline (2 weeks post attack) I'd think.

Right but this is a robot tiger so it could have laid there for 25 years, no?
