Cena should take on Jinder in a deportation match.

There's talk that Bray is winning the title at Elimination Chamber. So you'd have Bray/Orton then. I could get behind that. So then what would Cena do at Mania? Taker? And if so, then does Reigns get paired with Strowman? I've heard weird things for Cena that don't make a lot of sense. Including Samoa Joe.

I also wonder where The Lone Wolf might fit in all of this.

I was hoping for something much fresher or cooler. A returning Balor winning it, a debuting Samoa Joe winning it. I wouldn't have hated Strowman or Corbin winning it. Jericho would've been fun and a nice reward for this incredible run he's had. Even Taker would've seemed oddly fresh compared to Orton winning it.

Vince is a fucking genius. All he has to do is threaten to have Reigns win it and then whatever happens that does not involve reigns winning it goes over huge.

I knew there were too many big names for it to live up to the hype. Didn't want to be negative going in. But the actual Rumble was very underwhelming.

Dillinger was the only real surprise.
That sucks.
There were some cool spots, but overall not very interesting.

I doubt it's better than The Law though.

Can they blow up the new day already. It was great but that shit is TIRED. I realize the shortest month of the year is coming up but they really need to do something to change things up.

I'd like to see a Big E singles push eventually. A significant push. I don't care much what happenes to the other two to be honest.

Us folks in Stamford Central in CiJ's basement worked ourselves so badly that we shouldn't be allowed to book a 1st grade talent show. I was the closest to guess Reigns though as I suggested #30 would be Zombie Snuka.

There's no chance in hell we get Orton vs Cena at Mania, why in the hell would they go that way. So it means Cena would have to lose the title at the Chamber (or on Smackdown, which I don't think would happen). So Bray has to win. They've built this for months to not have the pay off at Mania.
Really hope they don't do Corbin vs Cena at Mania. They had the most uninteresting match a few weeks ago on SD, where Cena looked really bad & he pinned Corbin clean too.
Cena vs Joe would be cool. Hell if they want something for Corbin to do, have them do an interpromotional match & do Corbin vs Strowman. I'm dead serious.

I could definitely see Corbin vs Strowman.

After sleeping on it, that rumble was really bad. Way too many guys laying around for the majority of time. They really needed Jericho to be a ring general to make sure there was something going on in the ring. This wasn't executed well at all.

According to the LAW, these last 2 Rumbels were the first to not have Pat Patterson involved in the booking.
I fear this is what we have to look forward to from now on.

It was guys waiting around until a big name came out & then they got eliminated. Not enough random people eliminating others. That was the fun of the Rumble. Now it's just set up for names like Braun, Taker, Goldberg, Brock, Roman all to eliminate folks.
SO. MUCH. WAITING. AROUND. It took me out of the whole match.
Not sure a boring Rumble is much better than one that pisses me right off (2014 for instance).
Next year when I do a Royal Rumble Countdown, this Rumble match will be firmly planted in the bottom 5.

Watched it today and thought it was turrible. Having the Good Brothers win a "major" title on a pre-show sucked. The 6 chick match was just filler and to get them on the show. What did Sasha do to piss someone off? She shouldn't be squashed. If anything put her on SmackDown since she is the same size as Lexi & Mickie.
Charlotte & Bayley was good, but I don't understand it. The Queen handled her with a clean pin, so where does it go? No reason to give her a rematch. Should have lost it or been shenanigans for Charlotte to win it. Then that leads to a Mania rematch.
Glad that KO won. But hated Reigns taking so many finishers and turning into Super Cena Reigns.
Hated AJ losing to Cena. Cena doesn't need the strap. He sold plenty of merch with it on AJ. I was hoping for a run in of some sort from a Bullet Club member to save AJ and prolong the feud.
The actual rumble match sucked ass. The only surprise was Dillinger. Was hoping for so much more. Joe, Nak, Roode, Finn, Hell I really wanted Angle to show up. But I agree with above that there was too much laying around feeding to a guy to get their number up instead of just random eliminations. Hated Goldberg taking out Brock again. Made no sense. Should have had them both lock up and then the remaining guys eliminate them both at the same time. Again, build something more. Not squash Brock. That Ellsworth elimination looked like it really hurt. He was up there and came down hard. I did enjoy seeing Ellsworth on Carmella's ass though. She is so hot.
Orton winning doesn't do much for me at this point. Need to see where they are going with it before I hate it.

Did they do this for everyone or just the fat/old guys so they don't get winded? Or was this a special thing for Braun?
They never showed this on the PPV.
I do miss wrestlers riding the ring shaped carts to the ring like at WMs in the past.

Watched the True Story of the Royal Rumble "documentary" last night. Had only seen the 15 min preview they did on the Network a few months ago. Let me just say, it's one of the WORST "documentaries" WWE has produced ever. Wish I wouldn't have wasted my time.
Clocks in little over an hour, 20-25 minutes is talking about the build up through the day for the 2016 Rumble match. Then they play that dumb All About The Numbers video they already play multiple times during every Rumble PPV.
So incredibly dumb. I love the Rumble, so was hoping for so much more.
