Have his son Bobby Roode induct him. Looks like it's Steamboat.

Should've been inducted 10 years ago at least, but I guess better late than never.
This was the real big one that I had hoped to finally get inducted.

The WWE landscape dramatically changed last July, following the 2016 WWE Draft. Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon, Raw General Manager Mick Foley, Commissioner Shane McMahon and SmackDown LIVE General Manager Daniel Bryan picked Superstars to come to their respective brands.
WWE plans to hold another Draft sometime this year. However, it won’t be a full-fledged Draft like last year, but rather a series of trades to freshen up the WWE landscape. WWE plans on having Raw and SmackDown LIVE authority figures pick Superstars from the opposite show, as well as NXT. Champions would not be eligible to be drafted, and each General Manager can “protect” certain Superstars.

It's definitely a smart move. I know people enjoy Charlotte/Bayley/Sasha on Raw, but you can only have so many matches with those 3, the division needs a shake up. Plus the tag division on SD desperately needs legit tag teams. I'm all for it.
They should just have the people show up on the shows & not do a "draft special" like they did back in 2006 through 2011 or so. I remember those shows being just dumb.
Plus having names just show up on shows randomly will keep people interested.

Ron Bass has apparently passed away.

"Bass suffered a burst appendix, but didn't realize the seriousness of his condition. He waited a week before getting checked out and because of waiting so long, the poison overcame his body and he passed away."
68 years old. I enjoyed his WWF run in the late 80s. I remember him feuding with Beefcake, hitting him with his boot spur and Beefcake shaving his head. And I remember one Survivor Series where he & Honky Tonk Man were the co-captains.

Miz fucking crushed it again on Talking Smack last night. Saying Cena stole his gimmick from Marky Mark & Vanilla Ice, he stole the Attitude Adjustment from Tommy Dreamer, he stole his girlfriend from Dolph Ziggler, he stole his last shirt design from a beer company, but gets away with it all because he's John Cena.
He said it's easy when on his first night in WWE, Kurt Angle & Undertaker put him over. Bryan said Cena was almost fired 3 months into his run, to which Miz questioned how he knows that since Bryan wasn't even employed yet. Did Cena tell that to him at the dinner table? Did Cena tell Bryan to sign a contract to be his friend?
Most interesting line of this whole thing was this....
Miz: If I wasn't in WWE, I could go do something else. Bryan: What, made to DVD movies? Maryse: How many movies have you done? Bryan: I don't do movies, I don't want to be an actor. Miz: But you want to be a wrestler, but you can't, because of your head. Bryan: I can't or they won't let me? We'll see in a year & a half and see what happens.
Year & a half? I don't think Bryan has ruled out wrestling anymore. Whether it's with WWE or not, I still think he's holding out hope.
Anyways, watch the whole thing, it's awesome. Still don't give a shit about the actual match, but Miz makes the build interesting.

That is awesome. I know her & Io Shirai were offered deals (or were going to be offered) last year, but they weren't sure. Happy she's coming over. Wonder if Shirai will come over eventually as well? One of the best female wrestlers currently in the world, I'm all for this.
I expect more female names being named soon, because they're going to be doing the female version of the Cruiserweight Classic this year. Just hope Candice LeRae gets a shot. How she's not signed yet is beyond me.

So I'm going through the WWE roster & looking at what Mania might bring in the next few weeks. We honestly might see 15-16 matches on this Mania card (including pre-show). Here's what I got.....
Wyatt vs Orton Owens vs Jericho Goldberg vs Lesnar Taker vs Roman Rollins vs Trips (at least a brawl that might include Joe & Balor) AJ vs Shane Cena & Nikki vs Miz & Maryse Ambrose vs Corbin Gallows/Anderson vs Cesaro/Sheamus or Enzo/Cass (assuming we get Triple Threat) Big Show vs Shaq (maybe) Austin Aries vs Neville Charlotte vs Bayley vs Sasha (vs maybe Nia?) Alexa vs every woman available on the SD roster (assuming Becky, Nattie, Mickie, Tamina, Carmella & Naomi) American Alpha vs The Usos (if they choose to have a SD tag title match, this is the only match they can do)
Andre Battle Royal (I'm guessing 30 guys): Mojo,Crews,Dolph,Viktor,Konnor,Gotch,English.Breeze,Fandango,Rhyno,Slater,Ellsworth,Kalisto,Harper,Hawkins,Kane Titus,SinCara,Zayn,Rusev,Truth,Primo,Epico,Henry,Jinder,Goldust,Darren,Axel,Dallas,Strowman
Assuming we get a Cruiserweight Clusterfuck: Kendrick,Nese,Daivari,Gulak,Dar vs Tozawa,TJP,Cedric,Swann,Gallagher
New Day as the annoying hosts.
This. Will. Be. Exhausting.

It's a travesty to me that there's nothing better for Braun & Rusev to be doing other than the battle royal.

Luke Harper was in a main event angle as well and he'll be a Battle Royal guy too.
6+ hours of Mania.
Fuck.

I'm just guessing from looking at the roster. I'm sure things could change, but I don't see much changing from that set up. Only people I didn't list was Ryder (who is hurt) and Rowan (who I assume will be back sooner than later).
I wish Angle would do something with either Rusev or American Alpha, but seeing as Rusev has been feuding with Jinder & getting squashed by Big Show and Alpha has been nonexistent on SD, it'd honestly be a waste of time, which sucks.
I just kept hearing things about possibly 15 matches & wanted to look at the roster and dammit, it's definitely a possibility.

So, this happened in Buffalo tonight. I desperately want Trips, KO, Joe (& The Revival honestly) as a dominating faction for the next year+.

Asuka worked the MSG show with the Smackdown ladies. So hopefully that's where she goes next to get the title from Lexi.

Cedric Alexander is out for 3-5 months with a knee injury. I know he's not a focal point in the CW division, but it still sucks, Cedric is awesome in the ring.

Heyman promo was probably good if you've seen it 20 or less times but that's easily number 214 by now. Not feeling this feud. Not feeling either one of them having the belt now or after Mania. Not feeling KO/Jericho not main eventing Mania.
Although I do in fact know a couple people that have now bought the Network just because Goldberg has been back.
I think Mick is gonna fire himself.

NoDQ.com > WWE > Planned main event for WrestleMania 34 Posted by Aaron Rift on 03/15/2017 at 11:54 PM
According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, WWE already has a long-term plan for next year's WrestleMania. While things could easily change, the tentative main event for next year's event is Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns for the Universal Title.
WWE's current goal is still to have Roman Reigns replace John Cena as the long-term top babyface of the company.
While the original plan was for Reigns to emerge in the top position at WrestleMania 31, plans changed due to the negative reaction towards Reigns. Despite the continued boos, WWE might end up going through with what they've been wanting to do all along.
It's still unknown if Reigns will defeat The Undertaker at WrestleMania or if Lesnar will hold the Universal Title for a year, but a match between Lesnar and Reigns is the current plan for next year.
