Samoa Joe apparently opens the show. That rhymed accidentally, you know. Does anything happen to further the Goldberg/Lesnar WM blowoff? Who knows. Zayn beat Jericho ... does it matter? Who knows. Women's champio ... it doesn't matter. Nevil ... it doesn't matter. Kevin Owens and Jericho will cut a promo or two. Reigns/Strowman will have something happen. Rusev & Jinder will have some sort of pointless match with Enzo and Cass. You know, if they let Enzo and Cass have a long, credible match while dialing back the comedy, it might do wonders for 'refreshing' them. This, of course, will not happen. Watch, or don't; dismal ratings are simply fake news.  |

I know he debuted last week, but seeing Samoa Joe on Raw is surreal. Never thought it'd honestly happen.
And 10 min into the show he's already interrupted by Reigns.

Charlotte vs Bayley for the title next week, so this pretty much means Bayley wins right? And Charlotte wins the title again at Fastlane, then loses again on Raw, then wins 12 more times before Mania?
I mean that's the story right? Charlotte sucks at defending her title on TV, but PPVs she's dominant (I honestly don't think they have Bayley win her 1st title next week)

I'm still really confused as to why the CWs aren't on Smackdown. I think Vince wants them to fail on Raw, giving little to no time in regards to storytelling with the feuds, just so he can say he tried & they failed.
They'd be so much better on Tuesdays.

KO (and honestly every heel champ) has been booked to look like a moron all the damn time.
That said, this break up build between Jericho & Owens has been booked masterfully.
Brock vs Goldberg doesn't need to be for the title. Have Brock cost Goldberg the match, KO retains, Jericho loses the US title to Zayn at the PPV, then you have Goldberg/Brock, KO/Jericho for the Universal title, Zayn involved in a ladder clusterfuck for the US title.
Boom.

They're going to update us on Rollins condition at about 8:35? No way he's going to be out for Mania right? That'd be major breaking news if he'd be out for a super extended period.
Maybe they'll say he's out for a long time, but he'll come back for Mania? That's what I'd do. Hopefully Rollins makes it.

Sure, whatever. New Day has go away heat with me now. Their characters on TV are terrible. However on UpUpDownDown on YouTube they're hilarious.

They just look like a bunch of dorks. Even Neville now has adopted the King Barrett gimmick & we all know how well that worked out. Why can't he just be a killer of the Cruiserweights? Why must he be called King Neville now?
All that segment did was show off the flippy moves, show how bad they are on the mic & have Noam Dar say the word FUUUUCCCCCKKKKSSSS on live TV.

At least Emmalina is supposed to finally show up next week. After 6 months of coming soon videos. Still don't think she wrestles until like August. She'll do the Fandango gimmick. I'll just be happy when she's back on TV.

That said wait until he comes back or after WM and then put them together and let them go on a heel tear. Of course there's the Harris Boys pt 2 but that's not my problem. |

First, Foley looks so much better with the short hair gimmick. Joe's music is awesome and it's so great to see him on Raw. Finally.

Joe spent the ENTIRE match beating up Reigns, then he just pops up & hits the Superman Punch, not selling a fucking thing. I get he's the chosen one, but he needs to learn how to fucking sell. He's done this for well over a year. It's awful & it makes the opponent look weak as a result.
That was a very mediocre main event.
Strowman gets over as a babyface to end the show. I'm sure that's what they were going for.......
