Zany is getting better. Creative is finally giving him something. However I get the "Raw Ziggler" feel to him in terms of booking. I don't believe in him at all. Not his fault, not Ziggler's fault.

So happy for DDP. Big fan of his in WCW. An absolute shame what they did to him in WWE. 1st ever wrestler I got to meet as a kid. Met him & Kimberly at that bar that's in Wells Fargo bowling alley during the promo tour for the Bash 97, haha. Then met him at Family Video the next day & he remembered me. Been a fan ever since. And remember thinking how hot Kimberly was.
Damn, I need to find the picture of DDP giving me a Diamond Cutter, ah those were the days!
Agreed though, he never got a shot in WWE, but he worked with whatever they gave him. Even if it was being a stalker for Taker's unattractive wife.
The Positively Page super smiley gimmick was terribly, but he made it really entertaining though. Testament to how great Page was.

I know his main event work in WCW is what people most talk about, but his work prior to then, I'm talking 95-96 Page was hilarious. His stuff where he'd have Kimberly & Max Muscle with him feuding with Dave Sullivan. It was really bad matches, but dammit, his character made it entertaining.
Watch the Slamboree Lethal Lottery from 96. It's a pretty bad PPV, but DDP's work in it was awesome. He essentially ran through all 7 guys in the final to win Battlebowl. Dick Slater, Ice Train, Scott Norton, Bobby Eaton, Rocco Rock, Johnny Grunge & The Barbarian were the other guys.
Damn did WCW struggle before the NWO showed up, wow. |

He made the stalker gimmick work. The problem was they booked him to get squashed by Taker 1-on-1. It was just terrible and such a waste. I will never understand why they booked him like that. He also should have started as a face. His run should have been a lot better with WWE. I blame Vince and Bruce.

Big Show did a great job tonight. Those guys worked well. Usually it doesn't work that way. One of Braun's better matches. Bravo to all.
Braun goes over. Big Shiw looks strong. A match with Shaq seems like a waste now. Show could actually help someone get over in 6 weeks.
