WWE Universal Champion, Goldberg, has had one of the more successful comebacks in wrestling history. After 13 years away from the ring, Goldberg has looked almost every bit as dominant as he did when he was running through the WCW. While fans old and new have treated Goldberg as the super hero he set out to be, Da Man recently admitted on the premier episode of E&C's Pod Of Awesomeness that he is absolutely miserable during his current WWE run.
"I'll be honest, I'm miserable. I'm absolutely miserable. But my family's having fun, man. And so, every single thing, every training session, every ART massage that makes me cry, every muay thai session, it's all worth it, man. It's just worth it. And, hey, at the end of the day, if I want to smile, I'll buy a car. That's how I'm happy. I did, I bought one on the way back from [Survivor Series in] Toronto because I worked my ass off."
"Nobody get me wrong when I say I've been miserable throughout this, but I am. I'm miserable. I'm bloated 24 hours a day. I'm stressed 24 hours a day. I don't sleep, but it's a small price to pay."
Goldberg went on to discuss how important it was to him to give fans the Goldberg they remembered from his hey day.
"For me to be 237 [pounds] and have great cardio and then get the phone call that six weeks later, I've got to do what I've got to do. Do you think I continued to do cardio every day?" Goldberg continued, "I had to shut cardio completely down and just eat, and eat, and lift, and eat. And so it's a sacrifice. Do I give people the visual whatever as close as possible of Goldberg or do I give them a new version in which I look like a cruiserweight and it's just different, man."
"Why do you think I wore a coat every time at first when I got back? The answer is I still had to train, man. I was still training." Goldberg added, "I believe it was much more important for me to be aesthetically what I was like in the past as opposed to a dude who could run around for 20 minutes. That ain't me."
These comments only further our expectations that Goldberg will be ending his run with the WWE this Sunday at WrestleMania. If his match with Brock Lesnar happens to be his final in the WWE, we certainly appreciate all the work he's put into giving us one hell of a final run.
Fuck Goldberg.

That's what you want to hear from your 51 year old World champ, that he's absolutely miserable. I honestly think this match is the one I'm the least looking forward to & there's like 47 matches on this Mania card!
The reaction Sting got from the video game was huge, so what did they do, they had him wrestle at Mania, he didn't have the title on the line in the main event (I know his career ended later, but I'm talking purely his Mania match). Goldberg should be no different.
Vince wanted to pop Survivor Series buys for the Network, when he should've just had a face off at that show, Goldberg returns at the Rumble, eliminates Brock & we get the contract signing at Fastlane, then Brock/Goldberg NO TITLE at Mania. But no.....

But on Smackdown they announced it as just a Singles Match, no stips or anything. So I assume they make it something during the show? Or maybe during the 8 hour pre-show they announce it?
Regardless Shane & Enzo I see getting really hurt in their respective matches. You're giving Shane an amusement park ride & Enzo Amore a ladder. Not good.

Someone brought up that when Cena is about to propose to Tits, you should have James Ellsworth come out on stage & call Carmella out, get down on one knee & propose to her. Crowd would fucking go nuts because it's Mania & all of Cena's thunder would be stolen by.......James Ellsworth of all people.
It'll never happen, but I laughed when reading that idea. It'd be pretty damn funny & come out of nowhere.

I really don't need Shane jumping off a roller coaster for my entertainment. The show shouldn't need it either.

I remember there was actual talk of Shane jumping off the entrance structure last year. Glad he settled for the top of the Cell (with a crash mat under the announce table, while a robot Michael Cole read from his script #neverforget)
In an unrelated note, more names have been added to the Andre battle royal. The Ascension, The Vaudevillains, Kalisto, Sin Cara, Titus O'Neil, Mark Henry & Chinese NXT recruit Tian Bing. So that puts it at 31 guys.
Also the SD women's title match is no longer listed as on the pre-show. Leaving only the battle royal & the CW title left.

The Fashion Police can't even get in the Battle Royal? They're in it. Bryan put them in it when they did their (HILARIOUS) backstage segment on SD. Everyone in that 10 man tag is in the battle royal. Mojo, Gable, Jordan, Rhyno, Slater, Usos, Ziggler & the Fashion Po Po.
That said, it sucks that Alpha/Usos can't swing at least a pre-show match for the titles. Literally no reason for the titles to switch 2 weeks ago if it's not going to affect Mania.
Also, LUKE HARPER ISN'T ON THE MANIA CARD, which is absolute bullshit. I can only assume he's getting involved in Wyatt/Orton? Or he just enters the battle royal. Regardless, he needs to be on the damn show.
Only people on the roster not injured who aren't on the Mania card (not counting CW guys) are Balor, Joe, Harper & Rowan.
