John Clayton was apparently fired by ESPN. Always enjoyed whenever he was on. He tweeted that he's keeping the ponytail (if you remember the famous commercials he did for the network). Wow. These are some big names. There's hardly anyone there I know at this point. |

I've said it before, but the one benefit to this craziness is the Sunday morning E:60 in place of Sports Reporters. I usually watch it on DVR, but it's really solid.

Just read that another round of layoffs will be coming after Thanksgiving.
Which is surprising, knowing the assholes over at ESPN, I'm shocked they wouldn't call right in the middle of Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day.
Wonder who will be getting axed? My favorites were cut in the last round & I don't watch the station enough to have favorites anymore.

I wasn't a big fan of Coach at first in WWE, but man, we desperately need a character like his on TV now. Authority figure/lackey who gets his ass kicked by damn near every babyface. He ruled at his job.

I don't like people losing jobs, but I can't even begin to wrap my head around people being passionate about ESPN's offering over the last 20 years or so. ESPN's basketball coverage in particular has been the worst in sports, IMO. |

Didn’t want to give this it’s own thread and this was the closest place to put it. I actually watched her Obama comments in context and I was far less disappointed by it. The vaccine comments are what they are. She took it to a weird partisan place when she joked about being mistaken for Candace Owens. Her comments about not wanting to be associated with women that dress a certain way that can attract responses from men was her most interesting one of all. Overall she’s a little nutty.
