One of the best wrestling shows I've seen in a long damn time. I absolutely loved this show last year because of the entrances and action. This was just incredible.

Another reason it was so good; it was only 2 1/2 hours long. I really think they should split Wrestlemania into 2 nights, moving NXT to Friday night.

I was watching, just was into the show. I tweeted a bit. But here's my thoughts on a fucking excellent show.
Gargano/Almas was a fantastic opener. I'm not a big Almas fan, but when he turns it on, he's really good. Gargano speaks for himself, he's incredible. At first I didn't like the finish, but it's a DIY shirt that Rosita threw in, so Ciampa in some ways continues to haunt Johnny Wrestling.
Tag Titles I thought was slow & boring as shit until everyone started interfering. Obviously the Nikki/Dain table spot was awesome. I was fine with the finish.
Black/Itami was a lot slower paced than I thought it'd be. And it went longer than I thought too. Black is a fucking superstar.
Asuka/Ember kicked into gear big time at the end & the crowd was all for it. This was a fantastic match. Happy Asuka won. There's no need for her to lose at the moment.
Roode/McIntyre I thought was good not great. While the end was really cool with Roode looking shocked he did a tilt-a-whirl & landed in the DDT position, I thought other matches on the show was better.
Now the post match.........
I almost wish that reDragon hadn't debuted on NXT TV yet in singles matches against Black. It would've been cool for them all to debut on this show. Regardless, that's just nit picking. You now have a new threat for the tag titles & a new threat for your World title. All 3 are phenomenal wrestlers & Cole can be the mouthpiece as his shit head cocky awesome heel.

NXT has Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, Bobby Fish, Roderick Strong, Chris Hero, Tommy End, Drew McIntyre, Bobby Roode, Itami, Gargano, Ciampa and eventually will have Lio Rush and Dijak.
To say that NXT is lacking talent is a giant lie.
Honestly, I sort of want Roddy to join Cole & reDragon. I know a 4 guy faction would be too much since NXT only has World & Tag titles, but I'd like a 4 man group.

They need to find a babyface tag team; top 3 teams are Sanity, AOP, and ReDragon. Street Profits has promise, but its way too early. I wouldn't mind seeing Apollo Crews coming to NXT to form a face tag team. |

Notice how all/most of the males that were brought into the development center are not having an impact? It's the males from ROH, Progress with the push. They do a great job developing the female wrestlers though. |

Gargano/Almas - 4.25 AOP/Sanity - 3.5 Itami/Black - 4.25 Ember/Asuka - 4.25 McIntyre/Roode - 3.75 (maybe 4, I'd have to watch it again)
It was a really strong show.
What sucks, is that we have a 6 hour Summerslam tomorrow to get through. At least our reward for getting through that is the Mae Young Classic starts soon!
