Actually I didn't watch a second of this show last night. Getting caught up now. Gave it the ol' DVR treatment.
Battle Royal was pretty darn good. Like the chaotic ending and no way anyone figured Jeff was winning that, which I liked. Maybe a singles run for Jeff while Matt becomes "Awoken"?
Enzo will be just fine at 205 Live. All the wrestlers there are good enough to take care of him in the ring & make him look good, despite being sloppy as fuck & not a good wrestler.

So Cena randomly becomes the voice of the internet when cutting a promo on Roman? Anyone else catch him taking a shot at Taker during that too? Maybe we see Taker showing up at No Mercy, laying both Cena & Roman out and we get Cena vs Taker vs Roman at Survivor Series? I don't want that, but maybe we get it.
"It's called a promo kid, if you want to be the big dog, you're going to have to learn how to do it!.........SEE YA 4th WALL!" Roman now talking about how Cena buries talent. Says the guy who has found himself in the WrestleMania main event the past 3 years running.
I know this isn't a shoot at all, but I like how it's staged to be. My only question is.......HOW DOES THIS MAKE PEOPLE WANT TO CHEER ROMAN??? He's cutting this promo as a heel. |

Pretty sure they said all this for several reasons. Vince wants Roman to get to the next level, so he let Cena destroy him to hopefully light a fire under his ass. They also needed to add a lot of heat to the fued, mission accomplished. The stage is now set for Roman to cut the promo of his life next week and prove Cena wrong. Either way that segment was awesome.

Not gonna lie. I thought Reigns demolished Cena in that promo. Cena is way too carny at this point. Always has been to an extent.

For being a "shoot promo" I thought Cena was much better.
