Since more people have mentioned on here that they plan on watching Wrestle Kingdom this year while it happens, I figured I'd get an official thread going to talk about it. Plus gives everyone the full card as to what is going to happen. This card is fucking stacked, so much so that certain guys who are studs are relegated to that 6 man gauntlet match. Really wish guys like Beretta, Juice, Sabre & Ishii weren't stuck in there, but at least they're on the card. I'll give predictions later, but figured I'd get this going because I'm really excited for this show!
IWGP Heavyweight Title Kazuchika Okada vs Tetsuya Naito
IWGP United States Title Kenny Omega vs Chris Jericho
IWGP Intercontinental Title Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Jay White
IWGO Jr. Heavyweight Title Marty Scurll vs Hiromu Takahashi vs KUSHIDA vs Will Ospreay
NEVER Openweight Title (Hair vs Hair Match) Minoru Suzuki vs Hirooki Goto
IWGP Tag Team Titles Killer Elite Squad (Davey Boy Smith Jr & Lance Archer) vs Los Ingobernables de Japon (EVIL & SANADA)
Singles Match Cody Rhodes (w/Brandi) vs Kota Ibushi
Gauntlet Match for NEVER Openweight 6 Man Tag Titles Bullet Club (Bad Luck Fale, Tama Tonga & Tama Loa) vs CHAOS (Beretta, Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano) vs Michael Elgin & War Machine (Hanson & Raymond Rowe) vs Suzuki-gun (Taichi, Takashi Iizuka & Zack Sabre Jr.) vs Taguchi Japan (Juice Robinson, Togi Makabe & Rysuke Taguchi)
IWGP Jr. Tag Team Titles Roppongi 3K (Sho & Yoh) vs The Young Bucks (Nick & Matt Jackson)
Pre-Show New Japan Rumble

January 4th. I get easily confused on time zones, so someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but it'll start for us in the Midwest at 2 in the morning.
I think.

They're going to air the top 3 matches I think on AXS two days later. But if you want to watch live on New Japan World it happens at like 2am Jan 4th, which is what I'm doing.

I've got shit in the morning. It would be cool if they didn't have their Wrestlemania on a Wednesday/Thursday.

I stayed up & watched all of it last year, but never posted much due to not wanting to spoil anything.
Glad that changes this year! I'll be here, watching & posting!

Awesome. I'll be right there with you. Now how the hell do I order this? Do I essentially sign up for their version of the WWE Network for 1 month?

Naito Jericho White Goto Takahashi LIJs Ibushi Suzuki-gun RP3K
I think Jericho sticks around for a few more matches. Having him lose immediately wouldn't make a ton of sense. Kenny will be super over no matter what. Okada has been champ over 530 days & Naito is the most popular dude in the company. It's his time.

That’s what I thought. So I’ll need to connect my computer to my tv, right? There’s no NJPW app I can run off my tv or chromecast?

Who is with Kevin Kelly? This broadcast is so much better than the shit we have to get through with WWE. I've said for a long time this is a big part of what makes trudging through their shows so damn difficult. It's being presented legit. The announce team is telling a story. They aren't ignoring anything in the ring. Don't take this the wrong way, but it reminds me when I used to watch WCW back in the day and you felt like you were watching the adult wrestling program.

Don't like Yoh surviving all of this personally. Enough there for a finish. Love the story being told by the wrestlers though!
