John & Wai had an idea when doing Review-A-Raw from last night.
Undertaker dead man retired, but what if Kid Rock plays him out & we get American Badass Taker to face Cena?
They realized that's a shitty idea for a LAST match for Taker, but still, I fully believe that'd be something WWE would do.
John also pitched he come out as Mean Mark with Heyman. I popped for that.

Our own Steely Don broke it first. Mar 12, 2018 20:11:58 GMT -5 Steely Don said: So with Kid Rock being in the vicinity, is it American Badass vs Cena then? I mean, he made a big deal out of leaving his deadman gimmick gear in the ring ... never said he himself was done.

Well shit, tip of the cap to Don then. Didn't even see that.
I'd honestly be fine with it, Taker should've retired years ago, so if they're running the whole thing into the ground, might as well get everything you can out of every reincarnation of Taker.
Just so long as he doesn't have long hair & so out of shape you'd think he's carrying twins like in 2000.

Wow, now people are just finding out about Moolah's history? What a joke I'm actually surprised from all the push back last night. I thought I was doing an original Charles Wright joke last night and apparently Godfather references were everywhere. I read about this stuff in a book (Sex, Lies, and Headlocks I think?) about a decade ago. But it's relatively new to most that Moolah was a horrible person.

Good. But the fact they named it after her in the first place is embarrassing. Truly shows that they all live in this bubble.
Who do you name it after now though? I assume someone in the Hall of Fame already? Wendi Richter? Trish Stratus? Sherri Martel?
I'd say name it after someone who has passed away so it can be a Memorial battle royal for the ladies, but the only older name who has died that comes to mind is Mildred Burke, but she isn't in the HOF.

Supposedly Snickers may have had something to do with getting the name changed.

Good for them.
But please follow someone else besides NoDQ.

Luckily "voice of the people" Stephanie McMahon is here to agree, despite being a major factor behind the name in the first place.
This is one of the most bullshit/half hearted tweets, even for someone in WWE.

Good for them. But please follow someone else besides NoDQ. I follow a bunch of them but it seems like they're always the first ones to report stuff. (Well other than that wiener Ryan Satin's site) Speaking of NoDQ, who in the world would buy their shirts and other merch they're always pimping?

It really should be named The Chyna Battle Royal since she was the first female in a Royal Rumble and the only woman to hold the IC title. But the porn stuff makes it not so.
Sherri Martel Battle Royal is the safest bet.

Ryback said something about Rusev but I didn't look into it because it's Ryback and he sucks.

Mania 35 will be in New Jersey, MetLife Stadium. The Takeover, RAW, SD & HOF will all take place at Barclays.
WWE only runs like 3 stadiums for Mania anymore. Kind of boring as shit.

Batista said he was offered a Hall of Fame spot and he declined saying he still wants another run.
I actually wouldn't mind that at all. I think he got a bad wrap the last time he came back, during the whole Yes movement thing. They forced that Rumble win and it all just didn't click from there.
I've always liked him, plus his star in Hollywood has only grown, so it'd give WWE more media attention & we all know that's something they're whores for.
Don't have him steamroll young roster guys just for the sake of giving him another title run, but I'd be all for him coming back. Maybe a Summerslam run.

I would totally be down for a Big Dave run. He hated his last run before it happened, which could be organic heat. He actually wanted to do every house show. The sooner the better. Who knows how long that frame will hold. #PinkPoloDave2018

With Wrestlemania being in NY in 2019, that should mean Summerslam won't be at the Barclay Center. Any possibility that Chicago could be a destination for it? It could be at the United Center or use Wrigley, Guaranteed, Soldier.

It could be at the United Center or use Wrigley, Guaranteed, Soldier. They wouldn't be able to charge what they want for tickets at Guaranteed Rate. Papering SummerSlam would be a bad look for Chicago. Soldier Field would be awesome and give it a unique look. I'd love to see wrestling fans climbing up the stairs in the spaceship too.

I think if they have it in Chicago for Summerslam this year, they aren't doing it as a coincidence that All In is happening there a week or 2 later. It would show that they are fully aware of them & try to take business away from that event/weekend of wrestling stuff. At least I think so.
I know they aren't a threat or anything to WWE, but I could see WWE doing that as a way to draw business away from people deciding to go to All In.
I do think a show at Wrigley would be really cool visually. If they want a crazy crowd, NXT would be cool there.

I can't imagine they can change much at this point. Those Summerslam Barclays tickets are for sale everywhere.

I don't know if the gate would be enough. They have a limited amount of non-Baseball dates. I definitely think WWE will run something to mess with All In.

Just to be clear, I'm talking about Summerslam coming here in 2019, not this year. I would like Wrigley Field, but would the neighborhood balk at the crowd and music at night?

That's what I'm talking about. I think those non-baseball events would have to clear a certain number because of the limited dates. NXT couldn't do it and I don't see SummerFest being at Wrigley.

Best bet would be the UC. I don't think they could sell out Soldier Field.

Somehow the script flipped to 2018 for me after this post. And I still don't really see how they can mess with All In very much when they're blowing their wad at Barclays a week or two earlier.

Fantasy booking here, is Carmella's MITB contract good only for SD? If not, you have her cash in at Mania during Alexa vs Nia, win the title & go to RAW. It's the only way for this MITB thing not to start off with a loss, because if Carmella challenges Asuka (assuming she beats Charlotte at Mania), she's going to lose.
Plus Asuka wins, she's on Smackdown permanently right? You'd need a new name on RAW and while Carmella isn't on the same level, your women's division becomes even again because it's not dominated by the Asuka streak.
