Not surprised. Bruce Eric and Tony were booked for it almost right away weren't they? Yeah that was the first clue.

I go to the press conference and one of the first comments I see is "Buck Zumhoff is ALL IN........his daughter!" Wrestling fans.

53 minutes to sell out 10,000 seats.
That's insane for an indie show.

I don't know if Nick Aldis will still be NWA Champ by then or not (I'm assuming yes) but you have to have Cody win the title at All In. Cody winning the title that was notorious with Dusty would be amazing.

Hey, Drop In, 8k max huh? Good call dickhead.
Really happy for these guys. They had a vision and executed. Hopefully they don't get caught up on the secondary market or how many additional tickets they COULD have sold. This is a major success, baaaaby.

New Being The Elite is up with the lead up to tickets going on sale and also after
I don't care if you aren't a Cody or Bucks fan, the genuine reaction of these guys when they are awaiting what happens right as tickets go on sale makes you want to root for them to succeed.

Holy shit. So down for it. Yesterday, I had a thought. "I'd love to sit with these guys as they digitally see the seats fill and the progress on the sale."

No need to be in a bigger building. That place will be bananas sold out. I really am impressed with the roster they put together for this event. I didn’t believe they would create this type of event when they first announced they were going to do this. Now here’s my question. Since the event is sold out, do you offer a PPV option? Better yet, do you offer closed circuit viewing only available at movie theaters?

I'm torn with this Starrcast deal. I know I'm out Saturday. My life will probably be quite different by late August, so I don't know if Thursday or Friday will be options. I have no interest in getting autographs or paying $40 to get a picture with someone. But I'd like to attend some of the shows if I'm available. It sounds like I won't be able to get a seat for the popular shows without a platinum pass. Anyone else doing the convention portion?

They're going nuts with announcements at the moment. Pretty much every wrestling podcast you could think of will be there. Dave & Bryan, Bruce Prichard, Bischoff, Tony, Marty & Sarah, Colt, etc.
They've announced a few guests for Starrcast, which aren't a surprise like Brandi Rhodes, The Ghost of Joey Ryan, Leva Bates and for some reason Noelle Foley (again, I don't get it, why??)
John and Wai made a great point, they've sold it out already, no need to announce any more major additions to the card. If you have someone like Punk, wait until the show to have him show up. Chicago crowd would go apeshit and you can even tease him doing something on the next show, if they decide to do one (which they should. John & Wai suggested "Double or Nothing". If they did this once or twice a year, that'd be perfect and not overkill.
Don't drain your market.

The Starrcast panels and stuff sound fun as hell but I probably won't make any of them.
