Kid asked about Balor earlier and I definitely like him and everything but his size really makes me question him beating guys like Lashley, Strowman, Lesnar, etc..... Really takes away a level of believability to me. I always felt the same way about Rey Rey as well.

The again, Balor seemed pretty damn believable on his way to winning the first ever Universal Championship.
Just a little something missing for me with the guy. Size, promo, accent...... I'm not sure. (And yes, in many cases accents bother me for some reason but not in like a Trump way)

Not like Balor has been given an opportunity to show much personality in terms of promos. He's barely had chances to give extended promos and when he does talk, they force him to do the Balor Club Too Sweet lines and nothing more.
He's been this character since New Japan. The popping the collar of the leather jacket. Instead now it's not Real Rock n Rolla, it's Mr. Balor Club to sell merch.
They've done a poor job executing him in WWE entirely, NXT included. NXT fans cheer at anyone with the slightest of hype, and he had a ton of it because he's legit one of the best wrestlers in the world. It's just they've done nothing character wise to show it. He does put on great matches though.
And he goes home to Cathy Kelley, so I can't feel too bad for the guy.
