Superplex by Rollins on Ziggler, holds on, looks to do the deal with a Falcon Arrow but Drew charged and hit a Claymore Kick and Ziggler draped an arm over him to retain.

Another really strong match. The old Bret/Piper finish with AJ getting a pin off the Kokina Clutch. BUT AJ WAS TAPPING AS IT HAPPENED!! This feud clearly isn't done.
This has been a fucking excellent PPV so far. I can't remember the last time I've said that about a main card show.
Of course the mix tag, RAW women's title and Braun/Roman are left.

How (kayfabe) did Paige become Smackdown GM? Daniel Bryan became an active wrestler again so Shane made her GM, since the night before she retired from the ring. She's been really bad at it IMO. |

Streak of good/great matches broken.
The Mizanins win after Maryse pinned Brie with a sloppy ass roll up. Both women were friggin awful. Hot, but awful, especially Maryse.
The Bryan/Miz stuff was fine, TV match stuff.

The story of this match is Bliss has a fighting chance due to the bad ribs of Ronda. Still though, Bliss weighs 100 lbs. Ronda is this super athlete and she can't lift Alexa? Really?
That said, Ronda is at least selling very well.

Rene sounds like Bart Simpson. I don't know what it is about women on commentary. I really don't have a problem with it, but it's a tough listen. I used to shit on Jess Mendoza in the Sunday Night Baseball booth. Her commentary sounded like the SNL "Schwetty Balls" routine. But I saw her on MLB Network and she's outstanding. Coming into her own now on the broadcast. But Renee doesn't currently work on that team. But we know she's awesome. Weird. |
