Raw 10/22/2018: I'm actually here for the beginning

What the hell is this, Raw or an episode of House?

Not a terrible episode tonight.

Welp didn't see that one coming, at least not tonight.

Heel singles Ambrose should be an absolute psychopath (not a lunatic fringe, enough of that bullshit). Loose Cannon character.

Babyface Rollins should pick up Roman's spot I'd assume/hope.

Only bad thing is they aren't the main event program, Braun vs Brock is, which is not what I want. Instead Seth and Dean literally have every other belt on the program, haha.

Since it apparently has to be addressed, at no point tonight was I making fun of cancer.  Or Roman Reigns having cancer.  I had legit tears in my eyes at the end of the promo, especially because I went to the wake of a friend who died from leukemia this week.  Sometimes we need humor.  Humor is subjective.  Sometimes people are too fucking sensitive.  

I tend to track the history of a person when judging humor.  Along with the actual joke.  If someone is just an asshole, it's different.  If someone has shown a track record of actually giving a fuck about people, there's certainly more of a leash.  That's just me.  

Zero apologies with anything in this thread and I hope people are cool when I support Roman with his fight with cancer.  Because I don't fucking care either way.  

It's an absolute terrible & heartbreaking thing. Certainly not how you'd want to get to the reset, but it's a reset they desperately needed from a storyline wise (I'm of course referring to the Dean turn, also Braun seems to be back as a babyface, Elias is babyface, McIntyre seems poised for something).

I'll say it again. You never know what someone else might have going on. I've had to remind myself of that in the last thirty minutes.

My carny mind says Roman is going to be huge when he beats this deal. The jokes are easy. I made some. But when he comes back, he can be that good looking face. Nobody will boo. It will also be sincere. "Boo me, that's fine. I'm alive and can still wake up with my family. I could give a fuck what you think." True face stuff in 2018.

The reshuffling of the roster is somewhat exciting. I'm just so glad Roman's cancer came back so we can start having Raw threads again. #RomanCancer4Good

Yep.  Everyone in my immediate family that's passed was ultimately from cancer.  I have one living relative that's already had prostate cancer.  Friends, friends parents, etc.  They say the actual percentage of cancer deaths is decreasing.  But it sure doesn't seem that way.
