It seems that you and I have a hotness fight at least once a year. I guess it wasn't half as bad as I was anticipating.

Regarding attendance for the Stomping Grounds PPV, WWE ended up having to block off the hard camera side of the area. Fans in some sections were given seat upgrades in order to make the arena look more full on television.
Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted the following regarding the attendance:
“They were giving away a lot of tickets — a lot of two for one — the paid was not good. I heard 6,000 in the building, but maybe 4,000 to 4,500 paid.”
“I can’t remember a WWE pay-per-view in a long time where they did that little paid. I can’t remember a WWE pay-per-view where they were giving away tickets at the mall either.”

I listened to WOR and Alvarez was there and said the titantron all night didn't have wrestling on it, it was just the PPV logo. He was on the floor with his pregnant wife and couldn't see the first 4 matches due to this obnoxiously loud family in front standing on their chairs to see.
At one point he said the mom stood on the chair and fell through it and almost landed on his wife, who again, is pregnant. On their way out of the show, a friend he was sitting with said that family ultimately got kicked out for not listening to security telling them to sit down.
Alvarez said they didn't show action on the titantron due to Kevin Dunn and Vince thinking when it's shown on the screen, fans in attendance pay attention to that more than in ring. Which makes zero fucking sense, so I totally believe it.

Which makes zero fucking sense, so I totally believe it. That's kinda true. Whenever fans see themselves on the hard camera they start waving. I've seen shows where some fans did that during entire matches. What's weird is the timing. It's not like that's a new phenomenon. That's been happening since 1997 when the Titantron debuted.

They're questioning everything right now. Which sounds good, but it's not. They need an overhaul, but overthinking every little thing isn't needed. Make some obvious changes and start getting hot again. Then tweak.

One thing that I'd love for them to revisit is how they shoot the action. Specifically the zoom in/out thing they do whenever contact is made. The zoom has literally made me nauseous watching their programming and the way my mind works, I have to REALLY try to concentrate in order to overlook that. It's enough already. It's just another one of those Kevin Dunn signature things that they think is innovative but is really stupid and adds nothing to the presentation.

My thing is you do that with the screen, you're dicking over people who paid to see but can't. They're only worried about the hard cam people in that regard.
Then again they have your money at that point so they really don't give a shit whether you can see or not.
