i dont even know if you are being serious or just fucking with us. That is where we are these days. Rollins poked Rey's "eye" out and proceeded to puke after. They had a fake eyeball that Rey was holding and got a quick shot of it too. Then (according to F4WOnline) Sasha and Asuka had a really good match, Sasha almost hurt herself multiple times, but Asuka misted the ref and Bayley put on his ref shirt, laid out Asuka with the title and counted Sasha pinning her to win the title. Then Dolph made a stip were only he had Extreme Rules allowed and Drew had normal rules in a title match. Main Event was the Swamp Fight that had no winner. Also Alexa Bliss was dressed as Sister Abigail and told Braun to come with her, it's something he's always wanted, for them to be together. I'm so happy I didn't actually spend time watching any of this shit aside from the Eye match. This sounds like the type of show you would never show a non-wrestling fan out of embarrassment. Fucking awful. |

Apparently we were supposed to remember Alexa teamed with Braun in the Mixed Match Challenge and they teased they were going to kiss a few times like 2 years ago? Alright then. Just reading the results & having to type that out made me shake my head.
We can critique AEW & NXT all we want, but at least they aren't doing shit like this.

They did this thing with Rey because he hasn't signed a new deal yet. So "no word yet if he's lost his vision" will pretty much be determined whether he re-signs.
I know he wants to do a program with his son, but fuckin A, I'd prefer seeing him wrestle everyone in AEW than do this shit.

Fairly certain Kairi finished up at the tapings last night (assuming they write her off next week). She's done.
Wish they did more with her and wish we would've gotten a huge match with Asuka, but if she wants to be done, I don't blame her in the slightest.

You have to think if his son wasn't involved, he'd be gone, right? And I'm sure WWE is thrilled that's the case, they can use him as bait to sign a new deal.
Meanwhile literally 100% of the AEW roster could have amazing matches with Rey.
Hell have Rey go to AEW and send his son to Shibata's dojo.

I believe at this point Rey is thinking about his legacy and his HOF speech.
Leaving WWE means having his legacy erased, ala Jericho. WWE owns all his ECW and WCW footage. Makes sense when you think about it from that standpoint.

The planets aligned twice for Vince and resulted in two wrestling booms: Hulkamania (1984-1992) and the Attitude Era (1997-2001). He's been solely in charge of WWE since 1982 and those are the only times his product has been hot. His batting average isn't as high as he gets credit for.
WWE's approach to wrestling hasn't changed since 2002. That's a problem. Vince is a problem. Vince is the problem.

I'm sure it'll stay up, but the watch along was fun. They only did it for Warrior/Macho and Bret/Davey, but they had Balor and then Bret video in to talk.
It was just everyone shootin the shit and I really liked it.
