Can we get a long break from Brock now?
Unless he goes to NXT and murders Adam Cole (who is already a ghost). What does Brock do next?

"LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THAT HAM HOCK!"
That line from Piper during Taker's debut is one of the most memorable lines in history that's never talked about.

I made my friend who wasn't really a fan watch the VHS after Survivor Series. When Piper said "oooh, he does not look friendly at all" it got a huge pop.

I wish this was a 12 hour series. Start with early Taker, cover fucking everything.
First the Stone Cold Sessions and now this? I love hearing from Taker himself about his career.

That is gonna be so great.
I think it's gonna lead to Survivor Series and the real end for Taker.

I don't know if it was the right or wrong call to keep Mania going. I don't know if it was technically irresponsible. But I'll say this much. I'm glad I didn't have to make that decision, and I'm really fucking glad they made the decision they did.

Wouldn't mind firing this show up Friday or Saturday.

That was awesome. I feel better about my assessment of the Boneyard match now. It sucked compared to that. No

Just curious if Dave would say the same thing about AEW? I don’t follow anymore but he strikes me as a guy that has completely been blinded by anything they do.

He's shit on the Dark Order stuff before. That episode of Dynamite where they all laid out The Elite. He's been judgmental of their product but not nearly as much as he's praised it, so that's what gets noticed more. He criticized the Omega/Mox match as well. Criticizing RAW and/or SD comes more natural.
Tonight he was trying to tweet too much snarkyness in regards of the Edge/Orton thing.
Even I, the Meltzer defender on the board, thought it was dumb.
The match went way too fucking long, just end it at that. No need to tweet more stuff about it.

I’m not saying it makes it right but we all kind have been led to believe there’s this wwe bubble. So with that, how many of these guys know that full Benoit story on how he off’ed himself? How many know that Vice came out with that documentary a week or two ago? Not sure who was all involved in this but I feel like Edge is the only one who may have really known for sure. I could be way off. Think it’s possible their bubble kept them from knowing what they were doing.

Was Omega-Mox not good? That surprises me.

Was Omega-Mox not good? That surprises me. He liked it more than he disliked it. But I just remember him being critical of some of the major moments in it. I think he gave it 4.25 or 4.5 stars. Can't remember though. It was long and they did too much. Barbed wire bed, chains, crawling through glass, exposing the hardwood part of the ring, mouse traps, etc. On top of all your usual no DQ plunder.

That was awesome. I feel better about my assessment of the Boneyard match now. It sucked compared to that. No The Boneyard match had no history of why AJ was in the match. Had it been Kane or Brock I would have probably been more understanding of the decisions in the match. It just made no sense with AJ and it was choppy. Not sure if that was on purpose or not. THe Funhouse match covered all that history between Cena and Bray and the different characters getting them to that point in their careers. And Bray finally getting the deserved win and rub from Cena. It was tremendous on all fronts. So yes in comparison the Boneyard match sucked. Now, I hope this isn't a regular thing. Knowing Vince its shiny and he'll keep doing it until he gets bored of it. But this should be a once a year or two type deal and for specific feuds that could benefit from this type of format.

Orton vs Edge was the second longest match in Mania history behind Bret/Shawn.

I've watched Firefly Funhouse 4 times since last night.
I love it more and more each time.
I didn't catch Bray singing the Bellas theme the first time.
Intercutting Cena and Hogan moments.
Brilliant.

Orton vs Edge was the second longest match in Mania history behind Bret/Shawn. I barely noticed. Although I completed six hours of training during that match, so probably wasn't paying proper attention.
