I've been at important Baseball games when the crowd goes silent. Anyone that thinks that doesn't impact performance on the field is wrong. |

Watching on TV it was like a morgue. In fact, all three Comiskey games in that series had lifeless crowds and the stadium was packed. |

I was working at the park at the time and it was amazing.
Before the game the crowd was nuts. Loud as hell and super excited.
Then we started hearing the rumblings around the 3rd or 4th inning and then it got weird. Then word got out and it became a morgue. Everyone was drained.

Yeah, that's been in the ether for about five years. It's still hush-hush for some reason. I think more of a spotlight should be placed on that situation. If you read the details, it's pretty fucked up what he did. Fucked a 13 year old when he was in college, got her pregnant, and then completely ghosted her once he found out about the pregnancy.
His son Damell Bell wound up in the NFL for a few years. Karl made it clear to him when they met that he wasn't interested in having a relationship with him.
