I don’t think that next guy is on the roster currently. And that includes active NXT guys.
I'd like it to be Big E, but think he's like Cesaro and viewed as an upper-mid guy.
Maybe Steiner's kid or Parker Bordeaux could be that guy eventually.
But I'd be fine with Reigns having a long (3-4 year) run with the title. He might lose it once or twice to someone like Cesaro, but he always gets it back and is the face of the company.
Make it like Flair in JCP.

I like that. A lot. The last time Roman has lost a match was at TLC 2019 against Baron Corbin. So having him go another year+ undefeated would be a nice change of pace.
Their biggest weakness for forever has been inability to build babyfaces. Unless they really strap a rocket to Big E the rest of this year and have him win the Rumble and build Roman/E, I can armchair QB all I want with Cesaro, I agree with you guys, I don't see anyone on the roster beating him or even should beat him.
It's honestly a miracle they've gone this long not having Roman take a pin on some sort of capacity, so good on them for that. Looking at both rosters (not NXT), I see no one who should beat Roman. Not even Dwayne, if he decided to come back for a Mania, which I hope he doesn't.

Over a week later and the Zombie match has put my inner Cornette into née heights. That and the dick spot are the two worst things I’ve ever seen in wresting. I cancelled Peacock since the soccer season is over.
