I had Rampage duty tonight too to go with Dynamite
The shows flew by. Big time angle continues with Kenny and we set up the Okada match whenever they choose.
Swerves past coming back to haunt him
Edge is going to ultimately channel the dark side, just a matter of when
Claudio & Cage had a fun little match
Mariah & Serena I thought was great and I enjoyed the end with Storm costing not only May the win but also deciding her next challenger in the process. That’ll come back later on in the story.
Willow & Skye crushed it in that Rampage main event.
Technically both ladies matches main evented each show

Maybe that was workin' barbed wire, because they got out of it a little too easily. But still. Fucking great match. Apparently not... Goddaamn!

There’s only one thing left for Skye to do.
Inferno Match.

Welp, Bischoff's (and every other wrestling podcaster) anti-AEW campaign has worked.

When you announce one match before the show and just sprinkle in the rest of the card during Dynamite, that’s not a proven good formula.
You’re going to have to put some bigger matches on to regain the fans trust that Rampage isn’t forgettable. Will some matches get low ratings, yea, but until you stop treating it like a 3rd tier show, then fans are trained to just forget about it.
Had I not had to recap it last night, I would’ve probably skipped it and watched it On Demand the next day.

It ended up being really good too, especially the main event, which was awarded 3.4 PP rating!

It was a very good show and for an hour, had a lot of stuff.
Continuation of the Dynamite main event angle, fun opener, build/promos for next weeks Dynamite, solid Rocky/Kyle match, then the wild main event.

Liked they followed up on the Claudio walk out
He was disappointed Bryan is teaming with Eddie after last time they had Anarchy in the Arena, Eddie tried to light Bryan on fire. But more disappointed Bryan is choosing to go through with the match when this is his last year and should be a celebration.
Claudio supports Bryan, but wants Bryan to retire healthy. Simple but very effective backstage promo
Trent vs Dalton Castle start Rampage

I usually would watch Rampage ondemand the next day, but I’m flipping back and forth between the Celtics

Haha Rosa chasing Deonna, who escaped and walked next to the stage, where Rosa ran over to, but had to wait for security to hold her back

That Acclaimed music video was awesome. I wouldn't mind more video packages like that.

I don’t expect Collision & Rampage (especially) to do anything in the ratings, but this was another week of solid enjoyable wrestling that flew by and didn’t feel like 3 hours.

I look forward to checking it out sometime tomorrow.
Sounds like it was solid.
