Chuck Taylor in a barber shirt is great. Orange sweeping up the hair was a pop.
There’s like 87 people ringside for this. More babyfaces than heels, so the babyface wins.

I'd pop for Jay White. Have him win it and we get Jay vs Kenny for the title?
Hangman would be cool too from a storyline standpoint. He lost his shot, but regains it in the ladder match.

Yeah, there's a pretty tight logjam at the top of the card for Brian Cage as a face.
I'd turn him heel and have him work with guys like Mox, Archer, PAC, etc.

Yeah having him turn heel so soon seems like a admission of failure with the babyface turn. He’d be on the Big Show turn pace already.
I have no clue who you’d feud him with and have him win the feud. Andrade, Black, Starks, those guys feel like all levels above him and shouldn’t be losing.
Maybe Lance Archer? You could have him beat Archer. Maybe Darby needs backup in his MJF feud with Pinnacle and he could be one of the guys to fill the role against someone like Wardlow?

They can be tweeners depending on who they face. But they're monsters and they steamroll Elevation and Dark.

Brian Cage came into the promotion at the wrong time. Had he come in from the very beginning, he'd already have status. He came in 2020 while the roster was already expanding. He's just a guy now, unfortunately.

Punk vs Garcia got a lot of time and it made Garcia look like a stud even in defeat. Solid match.
Acclaimed vs Lucha Bros was ok, clunky for most of it though
Jade vs Skye Blue was sadly a squash. Skye deserved more.
Main event was fun. But Starks needs to be less obvious going for the blade to gig. It was beyond clear as day. Regardless, fun weapons match to send the Philly crowd home happy.

Yeah, Vince doesn’t see them as competition at all…
You know they’re back loading Smackdown with Brock and then Becky/Sasha (which presumably will end in a BS finish)

Rampage is having a Buy-In before the show on Friday on YouTube. Bryan Danielson will be in action as well as Bobby Fish ahead of their match on Saturday.
People are bitching about it already on Twitter, but hey, Vince is going no commercials the 1/2 hour they'll be against Rampage, so I'm fine with Tony doing something on YouTube.
It's not like it's going to matter all that much, but having a Danielson match happening while Smackdown is on is smart.
I think both are going to get crushed by baseball though.

Bobby Fish will wrestle Lee Moriarty on the Buy In
No word on Danielson's opponent yet. But if you want a solid match with someone who doesn't really hurt their record with a loss, throw him in there with a Wheeler Yuta, Chuck Taylor, Angelico, that level of guy. Had Daniel Garcia not just wrestled Punk, I'd say use him, but it's probably too soon. Give Garcia some wins on Dark/Elevation.

Umm, or you know, Tony could throw out Bryan Danielson vs MINORU SUZUKI on Friday! Holy shit!
Suzuki isn't with AEW, so I'm fine with him burning a match like this while Suzuki is in America. I'm not sure we'd ever really get this match outside of Bryan going to Japan, so this is awesome.

I like Youtube for clips and highlights and music stuff. I never ever sit there and watch it when it's the only option for a Milwaukee Bucks Youtube exclusive game for example.
I'll waive & dismiss that line of thinking for Danielson vs Suzuki.
Can't wait.

Ok opener with Conti and Santana. Nothing really great but if you saw the clip someone posted of these two wrestling in NXT years ago, you can see how far Tay especially has come.
Solid video package on Inner Circle vs ATT. It’s hard to see JDS as a heel because he’s probably the nicest fighter of all time.
