Watching the show now.
I’ve been very underwhelmed by LA Knight in his NXT run, but this was by far his best performance. A lot of that has to do with how spectacular of a seller Cameron Grimes is. Dug this match quite a bit and am happy they paid off this feud and didn’t run it into the ground.
Dibiase at the end slapping on the Dream was great.

Fun women’s match. They gave Dakota a whole lot more than I thought. That final bump was sick.
Raquel is still green, but she’s been improving. Credit to the talent she’s been able to work with. Io, Candice, Storm, Dakota, etc. She’ll only (hopefully) continue to get better.
She’s the poster girl for the “new” NXT. I get it.

WALTER has leaned out quite a bit. Still a beast, but leaner.
Dragunov pulling that bandage off his face is huge for me. Show the battle scars early.
Referee Jessika Carr’s reactions to the chops are great too.
Match has fucking ruled so far.

Fun finale to the Cole/Kyle feud. Didn’t overstay it’s welcome unlike their first match that went like 40-45 minutes.
I wish this feud actually meant more though. They don’t need a title, but it did feel like just dudes fighting to be fighting at times.
That certainly didn’t seem like a write Cole off forever finish though. He got caught, despite Kyle only having one arm.

Joe’s first match in a year and a half and he beats the indestructible monster.
I mean, Kross’ aura took a serious hit since he’s been on the main roster, so I’m fine with it.
But that was a very underwhelming main event. Especially considering how good the rest of the show was.

Obviously I knew Dragunov’s chest was going to be beat to shit, but those chops he laid in on WALTER’s neck and legs were incredible.
