The fact it’s taken Gable this long to be able to show his charisma (yes I know it’s off one meathead word) is nuts. He wasted a whole year as “Shorty G”.
Granted Otis was the most over he had been and they turned him heel (which I still think was dumb) but this pairing has been good when they’re allowed to be funny jocks

It’s smart to hold him off until Mania. Milk the anticipation I guess.
Have him answer Seth on Night 1 and the match on Night 2. Still seems so weird for this to be happening.
Cody winning MITB, challenge at Summerslam, win the title, make him seem like a major player
If not, he’ll be in IC/US purgatory and be the same guy he was when he left,

Sasha being stuck in this mishmosh of a match is pretty embarrassing to be honest. Rhea too.
Why not have Sasha vs Rhea, RAW vs SD, winner gets a shot at their respective brands champion at the next PPV. Those two could tear it up in a Mania match.
You already would have your next title feud in place with whoever wins between Ronda/Charlotte & Becky/Bianca.
But whatever.

To be fair, AEW has done a lot of it too. Without Googling, I'm going to assume that Private Party, The Acclaimed & The Martin's were already teams prior to AEW so they don't count. 2 days ago on Rampage, it looked like we're getting a pairing of Swerve & Keith Lee. Prior to that, we had Jay Lethal making the save for Dante Martin. Before that, we saw Lio Rush & Dante together...... before Lio Rush does things that Lio Rush does. Powerhouse Hobbs was teamed up with Ricky Starks. Also without Googling, I'm convinced that Red Velvet and/or Brandi/Big Swole had variations as well. Brandi/Awesome Kong was a thing for a minute too. Scorpio Sky seems to be immune to this line of thinking. Same with Jade Cargill thus far. (And I suppose a few others to date: Sonny Kiss, Nyla Rose, Lee Moriarty, Lee Johnson) Can't think of any black managers in AEW which is kinda weird. |

They had those dumb therapy session vignettes that went on (what Twitter said) for like a month straight, she came back the same fucking character in Saudi and she’s missing again. Probably won’t even be on Mania (unless something happened tonight that I didn’t see talked about online).
Man, that Bray Wyatt/Fiend storyline did a number on fucking everyone involved didn’t it? Though I’m not surprised Orton walked away pretty much unscathed.

Veer might be slowly making his way to RAW, but he’s been 13-0 on Main Event since those vignettes started last NOVEMBER.
Win Loss records mean nothing in WWE, but he’d be in the Top 5 rankings probably for a quick Dynamite or Rampage match for sure.

1. I’m happy Trips is healthy (I’m assuming)
2. I wish he’d go rogue and lay into Vince for taking his creation of the last 10 years, scrapping everything, firing nearly all his friends and the result being pretty much lower/equal ratings.
3. Trips is a company man through and through, so I expect a nice plug for Takeover & Mania weekend
4. I assume Stephen A will be yelling and mad for some fucking reason.
I’ll just read the cliff notes after it happens.

It’s weird to say, but thank goodness he’s done wrestling and something catastrophic didn’t happen in the ring. I know stepping away from the ring must suck for him, but his health is the most important thing.
I wonder if he’ll be back in any capacity? I’d prefer him being in a behind the scenes role but the stress that comes along with that, I don’t even know if that’d be good for him.
Kind of fitting his last televised match was with Orton though.
