Just turned on Bret vs Razor at the Rumble 93
Bret put his shades on a kid ringside and Razor zoned in on the kid and threw his toothpick right at him.
Camera cut to the kid, sad, wearing the shades.
Fucking perfect heel heat. Bret went right at Razor after he did it.

I know it’s not good, but reading this gives me at least a tiniest bit of hope.

It's very possible that I wouldn't be watching AEW today & KS Jr. would've never knew a world where wrestling became his lifelong passion and joy if it weren't for Scott Hall.
Pretty sure I've shared this story before. I grew up on AWA & WCCW. Eventually everybody left AWA and everybody died in WCCW. I became a lapsed fan starting in approximately 1986 - 87ish or so, and that lasted for about a decade until a phone call I received in 1996.
A friend called and said something like "Dude, did you see what's going on in WCW?" And of course I told him I didn't because wrestling was pretty much the last thing on my mind at that point. 86-87ish was the time frame I was legal to drink in Wisconsin. Bar life was like a nightly activity for a few years at that point. A couple years later KS Jr. came along, and after that my career got going in full swing.
So I missed the night Hogan turned and the NWO formed, but KS Jr. and myself saw everything after that and have really never looked back since.
I attribute much of that to Scott, Nash, Bischoff and Hogan. And that phone call.

He put over Hector Garza on a random Nitro just because.
They didn’t do shit for a follow up but that always amazed me.

This isn't for the purpose of the Ric Flair stuff. It's the Hall/Hennig friendship.

He fucking came out to The Fugees as his entrance music in ECW the few times there.
I know he really wasn’t in the best head space then, but who on earth could come out to that song and be as cool as he was?

Someone more talented needs to show me how to turn the cup into words. Imagine "CODY RUMORS" or "PUTIN" hitting Hall.

I bought that Outsiders shirt as a kid and cut it like Hall did so I could be a cool 10 year old.
Problem(s) was/were, where the fuck would I wear that shirt when cut like that? I did NOT in fact look cool when I wore it at my house. And I regret cutting it up because that fucking shirt rules and I would proudly wear that out and about today.
10 year old Monday Night Wars randomone just desperately trying to be one of the wolfpack

Watching the Nitro promo. It was like barely 2 minutes. But so historic.
Scott interrupted a match between Blake Beverly & Steven Dunn. Needless to say they weren’t tearing the house down.
Then we went to break and came back to Craig Pittman vs DDP and that was that.

Steve Doll got the fuck outta there haha
I wonder if they were filled in? Did Enos see Hall coming from the stands? Why did the crowd all of a sudden stand up during his match? Did Pee Wee Anderson tell him to kick rocks when Hall grabbed the mic?
Col Parker just took his guy to the back. Doll was halfway to the next town by the time Hall finished the promo!

I don't think they smartened the guys up. Enos was ready to throw down until Col. Parker got him to leave. Maybe Pee Wee Anderson knew and told the Col. what was happening.

Scott Hall Youshoot is on YouTube now.
Scott told his first rat story about how the girl wanted Flair’s number and he was shy but saw guys do stuff like this before so he said he’d get the number but she’d have to do something for him. Later on he got Flair’s number and she blew him in the car.
Sean: So Flair was responsible? Scott: Yeah but I had to blow Flair!
