I always felt like Cody wanted to be THE guy, but man he fucked himself so quick with that “I can never challenge for the World Title again and I’m sticking to it” stipulation.
Also didn’t help he had Nash like pyro every single week, even for a promo. You can be surprised fans started booing you. I know he didn’t want to be the gatekeeper, but you pigeonholed yourself pretty quickly.

Konnan crushed it in his induction of Rey. Highlight of the HOF show.
Stacy still is a 10, but they made her seem like she was this massive Hollywood star. I just remember her being “hot girl” in a bunch of TV cameos, Dancing with the Stars and dating Clooney.
Kaufman, Muta & Tim White inductions were all kept short.
Dean Malenko & Buddy Matthews were there on the stage with the wrestlers. AEW INVASION!!
