Supposedly Punk is going to go back to WWE.
Not really sure why either side wants it. Maybe TKO stock price being down is pushing it, but man I can't see it going well for anyone.

It is always about the money. Always. There are some good $$$ feuds in WWE right now for Punk. AJ Styles, Rollins, Cody, Roman. Maybe this is the catalyst for Heyman to break away from Roman and go back to Punk? Plenty of stories to be told with him signing.

His options are incredibly limited in wrestling. Either go to Impact to help the young workers and a company who would grow with his signing (which he’s probably bitter about how that ended up the last time he tried to do that), get his ass kicked in New Japan or go back to WWE where the money is.
It’s a no brainer, even if it results in being the biggest hypocrite when he does. They all come back, they always do.
Can’t wait until he has to go to Saudi. That “go suck a blood money covered dick” tweet to Miz will age like a fine wine.
I also hope he main events Night 1 of Mania.

I mean the style. The amount of injuries he’s sustained over the time in AEW (granted they were primarily of his own doing jumping in crowds and spring boarding into the ring) makes me think his body isn’t capable of that kind of wrestling.
The hard hitting style of New Japan I’d assume would take its toll on him quicker than others. Though I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to see Ishii chop the piss out of Pepsi Phil.

Is he a big star for WWE? I'll be happy if he does go back and really has a good run, but he isn't going to be bigger than Roman/Brock/Seth. Maybe not even bigger than Cody.
